Hello, I''m trying to get PDB working in accordance with the instructions at http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~sos22/replay.bk/docs/misc/XenDebugger-HOWTO and a message from this list: http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-devel/2004-08/msg00017.html When I try to build pdb I first get errors because the Makefile is configured to treat warnings as errors, and there are some warnings.

Problems with installing Xen 3.1.3 from source code.
Hi, I am trying to install Xen 3.1.3 from the source code. The machine on which I would like to install it doesn''t have access to the Internet. So I did a "make world" on a different machine, copied the files to where I actually wanted to install Xen and then re-built and installed it. However, when I boot into the new kernel and try to execute "xm" or

[PATCH] 0/2 VCPU creation and allocation
I''ve put together two patches. The first introduces a new dom0_op, set_max_vcpus, which with an associated variable and a check in the VCPUOP handler fixes [1]bug 288. Also included is a new VCPUOP, VCPUOP_create, which handles all of the vcpu creation tasks and leaves initialization and unpausing to VCPUOP_initialize. The separation allows for build-time allocation of vcpus which

Xen 3.0.4 release candidate 3
A new release candidate is available at http://xenbits.xensource.com/xen-3.0.4-testing.hg. This includes only a few tools fixes and one minor Xen tweak. Our plan is to call this the final release by the end of this week. -- Keir _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

[PATCH] make balloon driver not return pages which are in [xen_start_info->nr_pages, max_pfn] on ia64
make balloon driver not return pages which are in [xen_start_info->nr_pages, max_pfn] on ia64. On ia64 memory might be assigned sparsely. In that case xen_start_info->nr_pages and max_pfn doesn''t match while pages which are in [xen_start_info->nr_pages, max_pfn] are used. -- yamahata _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list

PV DomU stopped responding, won't boot, stuck in paused state
Yesterday, I had a PV OpenSolaris DomU stop responding. I looked on my xen machine and it was in a paused state. I ended up destroying it and then doing xm create to bring it back up. It won''t boot, and I think PyGrub is hanging. Not sure how to resolve this, there aren''t any errors being presented in xen/xm itself. If I try ''xm create config.conf'' it just

use case for exposing xenstore attributes via sysfs [long]
I''ve seen some people asking why exposing xenstore attributes via sysfs could be useful. Here''s why I would really like to see such a patch make it into Xen: I''ve been working on getting domU''s to know enough about themselves to be manageable. I require a 128-bit UUID for each domU, and I require that each domU be able to determine its own UUID in userspace.
