missing driver for CDAUDIO?
Hi,
I try to install LBA2 (Little Big Adventure 2) with wine.
The installation process works well but the game itself ask me
to insert the LBA2 cdrom but do not recognize it.
I have to following error several times:

oggenc command not found
Dear Vorbis List,
I have just joined this List. Thankyou to all the developers who have
worked on this project it is wonderful.
I am running SuSE 7.3 and the cdaudio ogg ripping works very well. I am
now in the process of archiving my vinyl in ogg files. According to the
SuSE manual this is done using the oggenc command but I get no such
command to work. I have also tried ./oggenc.

I am currently creating a small app that can be simplified as follows:
An Album that has_many AlbumTracks
An AlbumTrack that belongs_to an Album
The user will create a new album - that is - not currently saved in
the database.
They will then add tracks to the album with an inline form that will
update the existing display, appending the track to the list of

wine reading iso images as cdrom ?
Hello all,
I keep iso images of my most commonly used cdroms on the harddisk so I
don't have to find them. Can I set up a cdrom drive in my wine config that
points to the isos, and have wine think its a cdrom drive ?

Powerpoint 2007 unable to insert video
Hi, installing Office 2007 was a breeze, I then added the override for riched20.dll.
Word works fine AFAICS except for font anti-aliasing, but that's not crucial for now.
Powerpoint can import .wav files but not .mp3 files. More crucially, I'm unable to import .mpg or any other video files.

Problems suspending/hibernating Dell Latitude D810 with CentOS 5
Hi all.
I'm having problems trying to suspend/hibernate my Dell Latitude D810 Laptop.
Basically I have an ATI X600 videographics and SATA harddrive and run
httpd and mysqld daemons on it.
I use fglrx (ATI propietary drivers) and the open too with no success.
I tried with 1 and 2 screens configurations with no success.
I tried with CA and/or with battery with no success.
I need some help

that sounds like the -mllvm option would be a good a mention in the
WritingAnLLVMPass document ;-)
Two further questions for this and I am keeping this on the list so
other people have pointers to this if they struggle with the same thing:
1. Does this require to use lld? (I am sure it is, just to clarify, for

optimization I found is the option
PassManagerBuilder::EP_FullLinkTimeOptimizationLast - and nobody knows
how this works (and asked about it on this list too before with no
reply), and the author who wrote that part in the llvm code at Redhat
did not reply to a question how to actually use it. And there is no

Virtual CDROM for Unix?
Has anyone implemented a "virtual cdrom" facility as offered
on
windows? That is CD images are cached & compressed on hard
disk and shared across a network. See:

in an IR pass: access the instruction pointer/BB address

I looked through the documentation and source and am unable to find a way:
in an IR pass on basic blocks
for (auto &F : M)
for (auto &BB : F) {
....
}
I want to access the current address of the basic block. It does not
need to be the exact address of the BB, a few instructions down of that
BB is fine as well.

Got the 20040309 wine source, built it, installed it.
Seemns to work reasonably well.
However, when attempting to install/run games that are stated to be
working under wine (Caesar III, Railroad Tycoon II), I can install (in
the case of Caesar III, I get sound, none in RRTII). However, when
attempting to run Caesar, it hangs, and I get a blank

Another Half Life error
Thanks to help form this group, I finally have Half Life installed,
running and using my nVidia Gforce2 GTS with OpenGL. Wow. Now I still
have one error. When I start Half-Life I get this message...
"Could not open MCI file for playback: 266: There is an undetectable
problem in loading the specified device driver"
This error repeats twice and I select OK each time and then the game

Please be informed that I needed to mount my cdrom on my CentOS 5.2 client ,
but unsuccessful . I tried as the followings :
#mount -t vfat /dev/cdrom-hdc /mnt/cdrom
Add the following line to /etc/fstab :
/dev/cdrom-hdc /mnt/cdrom vfat noauto,users,noexec,rw,uid=1000,gid=1000 0 0
#mount /mnt/cdrom
But I cannot see the CD content . Can you please do me favor and correct me
