Ajax Scaffold Generator for Rails Released
I just released a whole new version of the Ajax Scaffold Generator (for Ruby
on Rails). The generator creates a scaffold page like the typical rails one,
except adding, editing and deleting are all done inline. The generated
scaffold is valid XHTML strict and fully styled right out of the box.

Simple debugging solution for RJS templates
I know I love the new RJS templates but the one annoying thing is that I
don''t get the nice Rails error pages anymore when something goes wrong.
I wrote up an article with a code snippet for fixing that. Hopefully it
will help out some of those as frustrated as I was.

AJAX + Rails question
We display a set of users in a TABLE. The rows have buttons that allow a
user to be Deleted and marked as Super user. When any of these buttons
get clicked, we would like that individual row to be either deleted or
updated to reflect the new status. How do we achieve this using AJAX in
Rails?

Ajax_Scaffold display from link table
Hi,
Ive followed the pets/people ajax_scaffold example without any problem.
I have a table documents and each document has a category. In the
documents table i have a field called category_id. So in the documents
grif i want to display the corresponding catgory name and when it comes
to adding a new category or editing the have a drop down list to select
from.

Ajax scaffold and SQL Server
I noticed the comment thread on this:

pagination in ajax
hi,
I am curently using rails version 2.1.1.
Currently i have done simple pagination using will_paginate
plugin.it works.but when i am trying pagination using ajax
with help of will_paginate plugin
it wont works.i am also using RemoteLinkRenderer helper,

uninitialized constant error after scaffold on new Windows XP environment
I am attempting to get a working Rails programming environment setup working
under XP with MySQL, RadRails and Webrick. I have been using my PowerBook
but need to working on Windows environment too.
I have basic functions of Ruby and Rails going. I created a really simple

multiple sub categories (parent-child)

base from the cookbook example, where each categories can have many
recipes,

levels.
