Weird stylesheet_link_tag issue after moving servers
Dear experts,
I am in the process of switching servers for my application.
Before the move everything was working properly.
After the move

Views/index to views/show loses javascript functionality
I am testing a local copy of my website using Mongrel trying to
introduce a scriptaculous multi-level drop down menu. the menu is a
partial that is loaded into every layout I have many pages with their
individual layout file. When I jump from page to page(index to index)
all works OK. When I
jump from any "view/index" to "view/show" I lose the javascript and

M hving javascript "scripts.js" which uses jQuery.js in rails
application. bt when it is used along with prototype.js, one of the
javascripts which hs been included first in my application.rhtml
fails...
Do some1 hv any solution how to make both the scripts work 2gether...

couldn't find file 'jquery' rails 3.1 stable mountable engine
When I create a new engine in Rails 3.1 stable and then access the dummy
app or the engine I get an error say that the app can''t find jquery.
I''ve created the engine using
rails plugin new coffee --mountable
I''ve also created a basic controller in the engine and the dummy app. If

Problem with link tags
Hell all,
I have a layout were I add my stylesheets and javascript in the
following manner:
<%= stylesheet_link_tag "/form" %>
<%= stylesheet_link_tag "/text" %>
<%= javascript_include_tag :defaults %>
But what happens is that in the actual web page the source is the
following:

RJS templates not found
I am running Rails 1.10 and wanted to check out the RJS templates.
Rails doesn''t seem to find them.
I did issue the rake comment update_javascripts and that did not correct
the problem. RJS is part of 1.1 right?
Any ideas?

in_place_editor_field -- values not clickable
Hallo -- I''ve just installed the latest stable version of rails, and am
following the rails recipies book''s first recipie -- using
in_place_editor_field.
My problem is that the code throws no error, but the resulting fields
are not editable -- the values just come up as text, rather than
clickable-then-editable fields.
Can anyone help shed any light on why this might be the

Lightbox popup on ajax pages....
Hi,
I''m using lightbox.js for displaying chromeless popup windows.
I have a main page on which I have javascript_include_tag and
stylesheet_link_tag to include lightbox.
Calls to the lightbox popups from this main page work perfectly...
But....calls to the lightbox popups from pages which are called by
ajax(using link_to_remote) from the main page do not work... :(

dynarch calendar problem when used with ajax
