[PATCH] VMX support for MMIO/PIO in VM8086 mode
Memory mapped and port I/O is currently broken under VMX when the partition is running in VM8086 mode. The reason is that the instruction decoding support uses 32-bit opcode/address decodes rather 16-bit decodes. This patch fixes that. In addition, the patch adds support for the "stos" instruction decoding because this is a frequently used way to clear MMIO areas such as the screen. As

[patch/unstable] page table cleanups
Hi, In many places xen uses "unsigned long" instead of the l*_pgentry_t types to pass around page table entries. Here is a patch which fixes this in a number of places (mostly in shadow mode code). Thats what I''ve trapped in so far, maybe more of these patches follow. Fixing this is needed for adding PAE support to xen. In PAE paging mode the page table entries are 64 bit

[PATCH v2 0/6] kvm: pci PORT IO MMIO and PV MMIO speed tests
These patches add a test device, useful to measure speed of MMIO versus PIO, in different configurations. As I didn't want to reserve a hardcoded range of memory, I added pci device for this instead. Used together with the kvm unittest patches I posted on kvm mailing list. To use, simply add the device on the pci bus. Example test output: vmcall 1519 .... outl_to_kernel 1745

[Patch] the interface of invalidating qemu mapcache
HVM balloon driver or something, that''s under development, may decrease or increase the machine memory that is taken by HVM guest; in IA32/IA32e host, now Qemu maps the physical memory of HVM guest based on little blocks of memory (the block size is 64K in IA32 host or 1M in IA32E host). When HVM balloon driver decreases the reserved machine memory of HVM guest, Qemu should unmap the
