pygrub cannot find kernel
I just installed a CentOs 5 domU system on a CentOS 5 dom0 system following
the instructions detailed here:
http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Xen/InstallingCentOSDomU.
The installation went through successfully. After installation, however,
pygrub can't find a kernel.
This is the xen cfg file I'm using:

name = "testsrv"

[PATCH] Guest boot loader support
Attached is an updated version of the patch to add boot loader support
for guest domains.
Changes from the initial set of patches:
* Per Ian''s request, adds an option to specify booting a specific kernel
from the host domain (you can specify it either with the title of the
boot loader config entry or with the grub 0-based index)
* Reduces some of the code duplication for finding out

[LLVMdev] [BUG] Varargs example in LangRef segfaults
Hi,
So the Variable Argument Handling Intrinsics section of the LangRef
(http://llvm.org/docs/LangRef.html#variable-argument-handling-intrinsics)
lists an example that segfaults. Try the following on x86_64:
-- 8< --
define i32 @test(i32 %X, ...) {
; Initialize variable argument processing
%ap = alloca i8*
%ap2 = bitcast i8** %ap to i8*
call void @llvm.va_start(i8* %ap2)

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] LangRef: va_arg doesn't work on X86_64; update example
Provide a full-fledged example of working variable arguments on X86_64,
since it's easily the most popular platform.

[LLVMdev] Clang 3.5.1 assertion failure on FreeBSD when building LLDB
A change between r231216 and r231221 causes an assertion failure on
the LLDB FreeBSD bot. The compiler is FreeBSD's in-tree one: FreeBSD

Applying both patches for this is overkill.... ;)

Translation of custom attribute (defined for variables) from clang to llvm
Hi John,
I have looked into the EmitAutoVarAlloca() in CGDecl.cpp. However, I
could not figure out how to employ my custom attribute for code
generation. For example, my custom attribute is visible in CGDecl.cpp
but how can I generate based on my custom attribute
if (D.hasAttr<myCustomAttri>())
{
//What to do here?
}
What I wan in IR is something like below.

How to activate all VPCUS for a domU?
Hi,
I have set maxvcpus and vcpus options in my domU configuration file, and I
can see that X number of vcpu are set for the domU.
I tried to activate all the vpcus by using vpcu_avail option (using decimal
to represent vpcu bitmask e.g. 24=11000) but it doesn''t seem to work, and
only the first vpcu is activated (i.e. has -b- state) while all other
vpcu''s set for the domU are

What is the fastest way to see what are in an RData file?
Currently, I load the RData file then ls() and str(). But loading the file
takes too long if the file is big. Most of the time, I only interested what
the variables are in the the file and the attributes of the variables (like
if it is a data.frame, matrix, what are the colnames/rownames, etc.)
I'm wondering if there is any facility in R to help me avoid loading the
whole file.

Translation of custom attribute (defined for variables) from clang to llvm
Hi Asit,
thanks for the reply.
But I guess I was not clear in my question. Actually, i dont want to use
__ATTRIBUTE__((ANNOTATE("MOVIATTR"))), since in documentation it is
stated that "This intrinsic allows annotation of local variables with
arbitrary strings. This can be useful for special purpose optimizations
that want to look for these annotations. These have no other

problems with tools/pygrub/setup.py and xen/xm/main.py
When making the "unstable" version I got an in "tools". There was a complaint
about "cc.has_function" in the following code area in tools/pygrub/setup.py
if cc.has_function("ext2fs_open"):
ext2defines.append( ("HAVE_EXT2FS_OPEN2", None) )
else :

[nbdkit PATCH 05/10] plugins: Wire up file-based plugin support for NBD_INFO_INIT_STATE
The NBD protocol is adding an extension to let servers advertise
initialization state to the client: whether the image contains holes,
and whether it is known to read as all zeroes. For file-based
plugins, we are already probing lseek(SEEK_HOLE) to learn if extents
are supported; a slight tweak to remember if that result is EOF tells
us if we are sparse, and a similar lseek(SEEK_DATA) returning

[PATCH RFC V2 0/4] Adding tracepoints to vhost/net
Recent debugging on vhost net zerocopy shows the need of
tracepoints. So to help in vhost{net} debugging and performance
analyzing, the following series adding basic tracepoints to
vhost. Operations of both vhost and vhost_net were traced in current
implementation.
A top-like satistics displaying script were introduced to help the
