Problem mounting with credentials file
I am running Gentoo. I am trying to get my /etc/fstab to automatically
mount a remote Samba share at boot time. I have the following in my
/etc/fstab file:
//192.168.0.2/share /mnt/share cifs
auto,credentials=/home/user/.smbpasswd,uid=1000,umask=002,user 0 0
This works fine if I specify the username and password in the /etc/fstab
file. However, if I try to use the credentials file

[LLVMdev] Symlink to llvm-config returns wrong results on Linux
It should be noted that a symlink to the built llvm-config will return
the paths for the system llvm instead of the built llvm; it's fine on
OS X though. Some differences in realpath?

I'm trying to make ocfs2 running over a drbd device.

Having problem getting Asterisk to work on CentOS 7
Some background information.
I have used Debian with Asterisk for several years. Have encountered zero problems.
I am now trying to setup an Asterisk on a CentOS7 box using VMWare Workstation. I am brand new to CentOS and RHEL so I may be missing something obvious.
I am installing CentOS Minimal Install and Asterisk from Source. (I have installed Asterisk from Source on Debian hundreds of

RBD volume not made available to Xen virtual guest on openSUSE 15.2 (with libvirt 6.0.0)
Hi there,
Since upgrading to openSUSE 15.2 (which includes libvirt 6.0.0) the
virtual guests don't get their RBD disks made available to them. On
openSUSE 15.1 (which includes libvirt 5.1.0) that worked fine. The XML
is as follows:

It's QEMU 4.2.1-lp152.9.6.1.
I've tried updating it from the Open Build Service repos but there's too
many version conflicts.

Hang after upgrade to 1.1RC1 and Edge
The same application, working fine under 1.0, but after upgrade to
1.1RC1 (include edge Rails 4021) the cpu keeps spinning (took 85%) and
the rest was taken by Postgresql. Looks like Rails keep sending sql
statement to the database.
I did a strace and following messages repeat:
send(8, "Q\0\0\0\nBEGIN\0", 11, 0) = 11

rebuilding my Xen0 kernel numerous times and trying different
configurations, but I haven''t yet ever got a single DomU to boot so I
really don''t even know what is supposed to happen, let alone how to
start debugging it...
Can someone please speculate on how to debug this further? It''s a

Re: hang after seabios
Hi Richard thanks for the info.
I took the strace approach and ran into this looping over and over again.
Is it failing to get time?

timer_settime(0x8, 0, {it_interval={0, 0}, it_value={0, 250000}}, NULL) = 0
timer_gettime(0x8, {it_interval={0, 0}, it_value={0, 204443}}) = 0
