Vif only accepts connex after talking out of domain.
My domains dont see any traffic until you try to connect out
from within the domain. Tried this several times and it was
consistent. I have no firewall either. running each domain
on different cpu probably doesn''t help, although Im no
network expert.
Here is some info.

Xen Cpufreq modules and Networking Issue!
BODY { font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12px; }
Dear All,
I was trying to set up a virtual network with fc7 Dom0 and ubuntu 8
(Hardy) & Fedora 9 (etc) as DomU images on AMD Opetron 152 processor
based machine. I was able to successfuly establish a virtual network
using bridge connection Xen Network configuration. After that I tried

[Bridge] Ip traffic not bridged
Hi, I am trying to set up a bridge that connects 2 user mode linux

traffic.

Centos and Bridging
Hello,
Presently I am running CentOS release 5.5 (Final). I am looking to setup
bridging as I would like to setup some KVM virtual hosts on my system as a
test lab. I am following the the instruction at this site
> http://tldp.org/HOWTO/BRIDGE-STP-HOWTO/index.html
but I cannot figure out where I am going wrong and would be thankful if
someone could point me in the right direction.

ping out of domU OK ping in to domU not OK
I''ve setup Xen 3.0.2-2 (binary install) on Ubuntu 6.06, got my domUs up
and running, got them connected to the Internet but I can''t even ping to
any of these VMs.
Now I''m not linux/xen genious but could the problem be that xen-br0
doesn''t have an IPv4 address? (it''s got an IPv6 address)
Since I don''t use IPv6 on my network this seems a

domU networking
Hi list,
I''m looking for some help in getting my domU network aware. Currently I
can run /etc/xen/scripts/network from dom0 to successfully create xen-br0.
After I do this, dom0 can still access any network resource that it could
before. However, when I start up a domU, it can only ping dom0; it fails to
connect to any other ip. I don''t receive any sort of error message,

[Bridge] Unexpected behaviour
Hi, I've set up a bridge using the 2.6.11.6 kernel. The machine is
running Debian testing with three NICs in it. eth0 is a standard 100Mb
Intel NIC, eth1 and eth2 are both Intel gigabit cards using the e1000 driver.
I tested everything at 100Mb and it worked fine. I moved the machine into
production, eth1 plugging into a dumb 100Mb D-link switch, eth2 plugging
into a shiney new Cisco

Xen Networking Issue with CentOS 5.1
Hi,
I tried this post on the Xen list first with no answer. I have 4 machines and 3 of which (all different) have no network access when booted into Xen. I tried using Fedora Core 8 and it produced the same results. Is it normal for the virbr0 interface to take an arbitrary IP? How does it decide what to use? An ifconfig when booted into Xen shows the following:

Hello everyone.
I just installed Xen 3.0.3 in a debian etch box.

I made a network-bridge custom like this:

Hi all,
Has anyone seen this before? I''m running a CentOS 5.3 with xen 3.0 and the
server has been running fine for a long time. In fact, it was up for 186
days before I had to reboot after the "network died", and I couldn''t fix it.
The server has multiple domU''s on it, which all still works when the host
node (dom0)''s network dies with these

Networking problems with fresh install
I just did a fresh install of centos 5.0 from cd, followed by yum update
which installed 399 packages. No failures or errors that I can see.
I have three nics in the box, but am only setting up one at the moment.
The box can ping others in my network, but if I try ssh, telnet, ftp, etc
I get this:

Problems with domU networking
Moi!
I upgraded Xen-2.0.1 to Xen-2.0.5 (testing) and everything compiled cleanly.
I''m still able to boot dom0 and start domUs but networking doesn''t work
anymore.
xen-br0 appears in dom0, but vif-interfaces now only when ifconfig -a is
used. Interface appears in domU and all seems to be fine, except no any
data doesn''t move in any direction. I can''t even ping

Problem in bridged networking
Hello,
I am facing some problems in bridged networking.
I have successfully created a bridge br0 and added a virtual machine to it.
Now the address of virtual machine is 10.1.3.31. I am able to connect to
this virtual machine by another computer on same network.
The virtual machine is hosting a simple python http server on port 8000,
while some other service is running on port 80
When I try
