Cannot use dovecot with vpopmail and sendmail
Hi,
I setup a configuration that will use sendmail with dovecot as imap/pop3
service and vpopmail as backend to handle virtual users and store email
there.
For this I created a dovecot.m4 as described in the wiki, it looks like:

non parametric estimates of the hazard with right censored data
Hi,
I want to plot non parametric estimates of the empirical hazard function for
right censored data. I've tried many functions from different packages
(muhaz, Design, survival, eha, event), but none of them gave me what I
wanted. Am I missing something?
Here's what I want. The data below is the same used by Kiefer (J. Economic
Literature, 1988), which in turns use a subset of the data

geodesic distance
Hi,
has anyone ever seen implemented in R the following "geodesic"
distance between positive definite pxp matrices A and B?
d(A,B) = \sum_{i=1}^p (\log \lambda_i)^2
were \lambda is the solution of det(A -\lambda B) = 0
thanks

nonlinear curve fitting on a torus
Dear R users.
I have data observed on the surface of a torus, and
am trying to fit the nonlinear regression using
the geodesic equation on a torus. Could anyone give
me a helpful advise on this problem? I would
definitely appreicate your reply.
Sincerely,
SUNGSU KIM

Changing coordenates
Hi everybody:
Does anyone know how I can change geodesic coordenates into UTM ones?
Thanks in advance for your cooperation,

Using Asterisk as H323 gateway
Hi there.
I am trying to connect Asterisk to a local danish ip-telephony provider.
But is having some difficulties. First I thougt they were related to the
provider. But then i started debugging on the Asterisk (aix2 debug)
When I make a call using AIX to the provider everything seems to work
just fine:

normality tests
Hello, does anyone know how to compute the following two normality tests
using R:
(1) the Kiefer-Salmon (1983) statistic, Economics Letters 11, p. 123-127
(2) the modified Shapiro-Wilk statistic?
Thank you very much. Geoff

H323 -> IAX
Hi there
I am pretty close on giving up on Asterisk :-/
I am (still) trying to make a call from a H323 phone to an Asterisk
provider using AIX. But H323 does not route the number to AIX. All it is
transmitting is an "s".
*CLI> -- Executing Dial("OH323/R27865",
"IAX2/demo:demo@gw1.musimi.dk/s") in new stack
