Shared folders not woking for me
Hello,
I'm new to dovecot, please forgive me my silly questions. :-)
My OS is FreeBSD 6.1. I just installed dovecot 1.0.beta9. I have created
a public namespace this way:
namespace public {
separator = /
prefix = Public/
location = maildir:/var/mail/public
}
namespace private {
separator = /
prefix =
location = maildir:/home/%u/Maildir
inbox = yes
}
Then I created a new

Have you had NUT woking on CentOS 6.5 for a USB UPS ?
Hi,
Is anyone running NUT on CentOS 6.5 for a USB connection from a UPS ?
The reason I ask is that I have not been able to achieve this by EPEL
repository packages, nor by downloading and building from the NUT
source http://www.networkupstools.org/source/2.7/nut-2.7.2.tar.gz
I have been unable to get Debian NUT packages to work with my Eaton E5
USB UPS, however I have been successful when

[Query] Access procfs of guest VM using libguestfs
Hi all,
I am using libvirt:qemu-kvm and I want to access(RO) the procfs of the
guest vm.
I was trying to use guestfs for the same purpose.
I can access /tmp of the guest but not the /proc
Is it a known issue? If so, how can I overcome the same? Any pointers?

[PATCH v2v] Pre-convert Windows guests.
This is my lightly tested patch which allows pre-conversion
of Windows guests.
You also need to supply rhsrvany.exe and firstboot scripts.

More than 32G on memory in a domU guest?
I must be missing something obvious. I have a large domU guest:

future time stamps warning
Time stamps are correct and my system time is correct.
I am now tried to use Sys.setFileTime() to update time stamps as proposed.
This does not help.
The windows and debian builds give different reports on the time stamp
issue.

ramfs to tmpfs
Hello,
I was using a bunch of cpios in initramfs as a working system, and
wondering why the unused files weren't being paged out to swap.
So I reread ramfs-rootfs-initramfs.txt and now I know.
So I wrote the attached utility. It creates a tmpfs, moves all files
on the initramfs, moves / and executes the real init.
It works, even with hardlinks, but it isn't the correct approach. Have

Default disk I/O scheduler in linux guest
Hi, all,
I just found out that xen assigns the NOOP disk scheduler for linux guest
OSes. Dom0 uses cfq scheduler (it is the linux default).
Is there a reason for xen to turn off disk request merging in the quest OS
by selecting a NOOP scheduler?
Is it because the request optimization will be performed in dom0 or VMM ?
Thansk in advance,
Jia.

[PATCH] meminfo.c32: Remove unneeded 'x' characters from output
meminfo.c32: Remove unneeded 'x' characters from output.
Commit 5932f124 ("com32: change '%llx' to use PRIx64", committed on
2015-01-06) adds 1 "x" character per each of the 3 hex output columns
for the 'INT 15h e820' value(s) in meminfo.c32.
These 3 extra "x" characters are not really needed in this context,
and they can make the resulting

[PATCH v2 05/17] drm: Add VRAM MM, a simple memory manager for dedicated VRAM
The VRAM MM memory manager is a helper library that manages dedicated video
memory of simple framebuffer devices. It is supported to be used with
struct drm_gem_vram_object, but does not depend on it.
The implementation is based on the respective code from ast, bochs, and
mgag200. These drivers share the exact same implementation except for type
names. The helpers are currently build with TTM.
