RCov / RSpec segfaults on Ubuntu
Hi all, I appreciate that this is not an RSpec question, but I wondered if anyone out there can offer some pointers. We''re using the latest versions of RSpec and RCov, and ruby --version says this (on the Ubuntu build server): ruby 1.8.6 (2008-07-17 patchlevel 279) [x86_64-linux] We''re getting intermittent (yes, intermittent!) segfaults from the build when running

metric_fu for use in cc.rb
Hi all, I looked on the mailing list for metric_fu, but didn''t find it -- so at the risk of being redundant, it looks really useful. "Metric_fu is a set of rake tasks that make it easy to generate metrics reports. It uses Saikuro <http://saikuro.rubyforge.org/>, Flog<http://ruby.sadi.st/Flog.html>, Rcov <http://eigenclass.org/hiki.rb?rcov>,

[PATCH 3/3] v2v: windows: Use '*.inf' files to control how Windows drivers are installed.
Instead of trying to split and parse elements from virtio-win paths, use the '*.inf' files supplied with the drivers to control how Windows drivers are installed. The following emails best explain how this works: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2015-October/msg00352.html https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2015-November/msg00065.html Currently the product variant (eg.

[v2v PATCH 3/3] v2v: try to get windows driver files from libosinfo
Query libosinfo to get the list of files for drivers of Windows guests, copying them if they are local files only. In case it is not possible (e.g. no driver files are listed, or their location is a non-local URL, or they do not exists), the manual filtering of the virtio-win content is done as before. --- v2v/windows_virtio.ml | 63 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++--- 1 file changed, 59

strange results when using rcov with rspec
I have some specs tucked away inside my vendor/plugins directory that I want to run when I run rake spec. I''ve got the rake task working just fine, but for some reason rcov seems to choke when I try to tweak the included/excluded files to ignore any files in app/ but to include files in vendor/plugins/ plugin/app/** The error I get is this: No file to analyze was found. Code coverage of a rails plugin
Guys I''ve been struggling with this one for a couple of hours, and nothing seems to work here, any advice would be duly appreciated... Background: I''m busy working on a plugin called "shared_models", allowing you to easily share models between different applications, running different database or on the same database. The plugin is nearly complete, offering a

tests and login_engine
Hi there, I just started writing tests today after some months of using rails (slap wrists). I seem to be getting the hang of things, but I''m hitting a wall when it comes to functional_testing pages protected by login_engine/user_engine. all my assertions come back with: Expected response to be a <:success>, but was <302> Is there a way I can login from within a test?
