distance_of_time_in_words_to_now
Hi There,
As I have learned the hard way, let me discuss my question, idea or feature
here before doing actual work on it...
distance_of_time_in_words_to_now() seems to be unable to tell if this
distance is in the future or in the past.
I''d really like to see ''in 5 days'' or ''5 days ago'' depending on, well, if
it was 5 days ago or will be in 5

sssd with ad backend and "ldap_id_mapping = false" refuse to start
Hello,
we are using sssd version 1.12 on openSUSE 13.1 with Sernet-Samba
Packages 4.1.11. Samba runs as a single AD DC
We have removed the complete openSUSE samba stuff before testing. sssd
runs on the same machine as samba.
Our sssd config:

File time with SAMBA file server for MS-clients
Hello everybody, I have a big problem with my SAMBA 2.2 Server.
I have Win NT/95/98 clients working with my SAMBA file server. The
problem is, that
the time of my files at the server is different, depending on the
Windows version
of the client.
Example:
On Win95 I create the file test.bin at a server drive at 07:43 (this is
the local time and the time shown in the Win-Status bar). At the same

plot command error message
I tried to plot a clustered linear regression model with the cplot command in R (code below). Leaflet is a binary variable (I know logit would be better), partisan is nummeric variable (0-4) and partisan_mis a dummy (0,1). As you can see it is clustered around two variables: around individuals and around the specific survey. When I try to run the cplot command I always get this error message:

date helper bug?
I''ve found an issue when trying to use the time_ago_in_words and
distance_of_time_in_words from action view''s date_helper.rb
Using SQL Server, I have a datetime column that gets returned as:
"2007/02/21 09:54:00". When I pass this to time_ago_in_words (which
just passes on to distance_of_time_in_words) it miscalculates the
difference as "9 hours" (...um yeah,

wrong time in guest logs
Hi,
i have several vm's running on KVM hosts. Recently i found out that the time in the log-files of the guests (/var/log/libvirt/qemu/xxx.log) is wrong. The time on the guest itself is right, just the time in the log-files is one hour back. Windows and linux vm's are affected. Also on another host the same. Changing the clock offset does not have any influence, still the wrong time in

How to query with calculations?
Hi,
I would like to do something simple yet I''m confused.
Lets say I have a table with 2 fields: rank, updated_at.
I would like to show all records matching this condition:
rank = rank ? (Time.now.to_time ? Updated_at.to_time)
As you can see this is supposed to be a calculation on the field.
How do I write a query to show this?
I''ve tried with_scope, and regular find but did not

to_time "time out of range"
Hello,
I''m experiencing some inconsistent results between code I run in the
console and in my test/project code.
On the console this works...
>> Date.new(1899, 12, 25).to_time
=> Fri Dec 13 14:45:52 CST 1901
>> Date.new(2058, 12, 25).to_time
=> Mon Jan 18 21:14:07 CST 2038
The values are changed to their min and max values.
If I do the same in my test or development

lustre quota problems
Hello,
I''ve several problems with quota on our testcluster:
When I set the quota for a person to a given value (e.g. the values which
are provided in the operations manual), I''m able to write exact the amount
which is set with setquota.
But when I delete the files(file) I''m not able to use this space again.
Here is what I''ve done in detail:
lfs checkquota
