I recently updated my Rannotate application. The interface has been
completely redone and there are lots of new features. The basic idea is
to create searchable and user annotatable documentation for the Ruby on
Rails API (think php.net).

File_column : how can I resize/convert/whatever an image according to form-submitted values?
Hi guys,
I want to have a file upload form which would allow the user to ask for
certain transformations of the image before saving it - most importantly, to
resize it.
Now, how can I make an instance of FileColumn enabled model process these
imagemagick instructions?

Flash CSS issues
I''m have issues in IE6 with my CSS for my flash[:notice] and flash[:error].

searchable or acts_as_ferret or neither?
Has anybody tried both and favored one of the other?
Or maybe tried both and in the end used neither?
I''m having perf (generic searches across 4 fields take upwards of 120
seconds) and index rebuild issues (not sure how long it takes to fully
rebuild since the process either gets killed or dies due to a file lock
exception) with a dreamhost site that is using AAF, has 65k rows in 1

best practice on making a searchable/filterable list?
Hi, I have many pages that list information (modified from the
scaffolding). I would like to include a box at the top of these pages
that has some search criteria with drop downs, date ranges, etc.
When the user submits, the controller then adds appropriate conditions
to the find method, and the matching records are displayed with the
search form maintaining the users selections.

Searchable models
Hi,
I installed rails searchgenerator. When i run ''ruby script/generate
search Search --inspect'' to check the models that are searchable, it
returns none. I''ve about 9 models in my application. Why is none of the
models searchable?

Searchable Archives?
Hi guys,
I am new to Asterisk. It looks great, but I have a couple of open
questions such as
- What softphones are recommended and provide Call Center level
functionality?
- What hardware (especially E1 (Euro S2M) class) are supported?
I would like to search the list archives, but can't find a searchable
archive.
Can someone please point me into the right direction?

Searchable Asterisk-users archive available
For those newbies who seem to not know google exists, I've setup a
searchable forum located at http://asterisk.keystreams.com/ . Yes some
of the threads are doubled up, but that sort of conversion is not
perfect so just use the search feature. It currently has 2002,2003,
2004, and Jan/Feb of 2005. It will *not* be updated in real time (at
least not for now)

Where can I do a keyword search of the posting in biz and users forums?
asterisk.org just links to http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/ and that
doesn't let me do a string search across all postings.

Searchable Archives of this list
Is there a searchable archive of this list? Did I overlook something
obvious? I can find the archives, but short of downloading all the
monthly gzips and building my own searchable database, it seems my
only other option is to go month by month looking at subjects and
hope to stumble on what I'm after.
Does anyone maintain a public searchable version of the archives?

CentOS lists now searchable via MarkMail.org

Just thought I'd drop a note here... a short while ago I was searching
for some info on CentOS, and having been exposed to markmail.org via the
R-project <www.r-project.org> <www.r-project.org>I went to markmail to
do some digging. At that time, they didn't carry the CentOS lists yet,

Mailman - searchable archive
Mailman works well for our mailing lists, but the archive is
unacceptable - the worst thing is lack of search function.
I got one tip for this:
1) emails converted to html format with mhonarc
2) search can be done with htdig
Opinions? Maybe there are better software solutions for this - I hope.
