Ultime9 works - or wine more win9x compatible than NT :-)
Hi, When I was about 17 (4 years ago) I dreamed Ultima9 would run on Wine. No joke - I really dreamed about it. Maybe the many not very successful tries with WineX made my brain to rebell even when I slept ;) I thing with WineX 1.1 or 2.0 it worked but: - 3d sound was broken. - Colors were mixed up + some other rendering problems - I had to hack a bit, because it crashed when it attemped to

Models relationship summary / Entity relationship diagram
Hi, Does anyone know of a tool or script that can parse the contents of the models folder and produce some sort of model relationship document, either a text summary or graphical representation? Thanks, Andrew. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. To post to this

Nash equilibrium and other game theory tools implemented in networks using igraph or similar
Does anyone know of some code, and examples that implement game theory/Nash equilibrium hypothesis testing using existing packages like igraph/statnet or similar? Perhaps along the lines of this article: Zhang, Y., Aziz-Alaoui, M. A., Bertelle, C., & Guan, J. (2014). Local Nash Equilibrium in Social Networks, *4*, 6224. r package to solve for Nash equilibrium
Is there an r package out there that solves for pure strategy* Nash equilibrium of a two-person game*? A search for Nash equilibrium in r provides a link to the *GNE* package which solves for the Generalized Nash equilibrium. But what I would like to solve is a pure strategy Nash equilibrium. Nash equilibrium and other game theory tools implemented in networks using igraph or similar
Hello Chris, I was implying you are capable enough to implement it, while you have already identify a research paper. If there is no package out there, uploading to CRAN would help future user too. I am more than happy to help if you want to implement from scratch. Best, Mehmet On 27 June 2017 at 17:45, Chris Buddenhagen <cbuddenhagen at gmail.com> wrote: > Does anyone know of some

Converting HTML into an Image
I have this challenge of converting a bit of html into an image file and then shrinking it into a thumbnail. The shrinking part shouldn''t be too bad, but what advice can you give on converting the html to the image? My thinking is that I will need to convert it to postscript or latex and then convert it to an image from there. Is there an easier / better approach? Michael

The BBC tests Ogg Vorbis on the net!
An article I saw on the french news site http://www.linuxfr.org says that the BBC is testing streaming with Vorbis on his web servers. Apparently, it works very well with XMMS. Vorbis is growing in popularity and it's a good thing! <p>--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message

Cessation of BBC Ogg streams
Permission to stream BBC Radio 1 & 4 24x7 ran out today. Radio 4 have said we can go for another week (so that's fine for the first LotR episode), but after that it will cease too. If you enjoyed them, and want to see them return, then all feedback is appreciated - send to webweaver@bbc.co.uk. Some on-demand stuff is still available, and still linked from http://support.bbc.co.uk/ogg/

Streaming content from BBC just stops
Hi, I've been trying to listen to the BBC's ogg broadcasts over a 56Kbps modem and have had problems. I can listen to the archived shows, but I get occasonal pauses. I assume this can be fixed by pre-loading a large enough buffer. But when I try listening to the Radio-4 stream, the buffer fills, then I get sound and for maybe 5 more seconds I continue to get modem traffic. Then the

The future for open streaming solutions at the BBC?
Hi all, I recently emailed a query to the maintainers of BBC London website (http://bbc.co.uk/london) asking if they had any plans to move away from Real Server as a means for streaming audio and Video of their live radio and tv broadcasts to something a bit more cross platform like OGG/Vorbis or even MP3's. The reply I received was : "I'm afraid we only plan to use Real Player

The bar is getting raised yet again http://www.voipmonitor.net/2007/06/05/New+Features+And+Services+For+Pack et8+Virtual+Office.aspx I personally use Snapanumber $30 or there abouts (after trialing a few other TAPI solutions and finding them sub-par) and think it's a great product but interesting to see how more people are expecting desktop/phone integration applications. Problem running BBC Doctor Who game in Linux Mint Debian
Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite L500 Laptop running 64bit Linux Mint Debian Edition 201109. The laptop has ATI Radeon M92 (HD 4500 / 5000) graphics. This is based on Debian testing and because at present there is no WINE in the testing repositories, I have installed 1.3.30 from: http://frickelplatz.de/debian/ This seems to work fine: I can run LTspiceIV perfectly. However ... I have tried

I have a book cataloging program that I have used for several years and I am extremely pleased with it. It's one of the main reasons I still use windows primarily. I'm looking at running it under WINE and I am having trouble with the registration of the license key. The license key is coped to the Windows clipboard and the the program reads it from the clipboard. When I try to

Absolute noob needs help getting and useing the right bits
We are trialing UBUNTU on my son's computer and want to load WINE so that he can use some of his windows programs - of course mostly games..... Our problem is that the PC is a standalone with no internet connection at this time - it will soon. We downloaded wine-1.1.28.tar.bz2 onto a usb drive and copied over, but we are such know-nothings about this that we are stuck. I have seen something
