forms - a better way to pass data?
i know there is a better way to do this..
i am running a logging type program using rails..
a macromedia director program sends some post data to:
http://host/logger
and if the data is okay, it makes a new entry into the database..
the problem is:
when i first wrote it, i had a form that i used to make sure all the
data was moving around okay..
what i did was, named all the form elements

dealing with multipart forms in a Mongrel::HttpHandler
Hi everyone,
Is there an easy way to parse multipart form requests from within a
Mongrel::HttpHandler subclass or do I need to break out RFC 2388 and a bunch
of regexps?
Thanks,
Mark

Excellent! Your solution is absolutely easier, and IT
WORKS! After following your instructions, "This Land"

With your permission, I will write up an FAQ and give

How do I get a flash plugin to work with firefox?
I thought that I installed it correctly,
but I have yet to see any flash videos through firefox.
I keep being told that I need an additional plugin.
When I folow directions, I'm told I already have it?
At least once, I was told I needed to upgrade.
In case it helps, here is the output of
yum provides '*flash*' | grep -e lash -e dobe

Icecast in Macromedia Flash
No audio with IE 5.5 SP2 on Windows 2k. Sorry for the bad news.
But why? Maybe it's a cross-site-error so that IE blocks access to a
different server for security-reasons? Could you please put the
player under the web-root of your icecast2-server and give us the
links? Maybe that helps - cause then the audio is coming from the
same URL.

Vorbis in Macromedia Flash (was Icecast in...)
Hi Jack,
It's a good idea. I am going to email macromedia to ask support for ogg in
Flash. Anyway, it is impossible it would be available before end of 2004
because the brand new Flash 2004 was just released.
