It sounds like both liveice procs are trying to open the sound card? and the second one fails? I think you can double check that NO_SOUNDCARD is set in the second liveice. After one minute of connection the stream from our icecast 1.3.10 server (debian package 1.3.10-2) starts stuttering. And after some stuttering the client is disconnected by the server. The usual client is a windows winamp. The icecast logs shows that the the client is not receiving data fast enough. A small part out the logs is shown below. We have a small LAN here with NT4/98 clients. I reformated an NT machine and poped win2k on it, but as soon as I try to access the network, it takes over.
