Bug in Samba v2.2.8a with Windows API GetFileAttributes ?
Before my company was bought out by another company, we were using Samba v1.9.3 and I'm pretty certain that the GetFileAttributes was working properly but I can't be absolutely sure. Since the move, we're using v2.2.5 and just recently upgraded to v2.2.8a on Solaris 2.7. I'm doing my testing on an XP machine. I'm seeing that GetFileAttributes is always returning 0 instead of

application specific passwords
Hi Kirill, Thanks for your reply. Such a simple flat file approach would be perfect, and I don't mind at all to require app specific usernames *and* passwords. However, I am unsure how to combine your recipe below with our regular AD userdb/passdb. Perhaps someone can give me some pointers in that direction? Guests can't connect to each other
Hi, I'm using libvirt and qemu on Debian Wheezy. I'm having a strange behavior. Guests can't connect to each other when they're on the same host. On the host I'm using bonding (in active / backup mode) and vlan. It looks like this : eth0 \ / macvtap0 bond0 --- vlan222 eth1 / \ macvtap1 So I've got two guests, let's say A and B. When

will syslinux work on a harddisk ?
Can someone tell me if syslinux will work on a harddisk ? I have a 4mb flash device that plugs into the IDE connector on the motherboard, and i'm trying to get syslinux to work with it, so I can load a Linux kernel and an initrd. I'm not having any luck with it. Then it dawned on me that the boot loader in syslinux might be expecting a floppy drive rather than an atapi hard disk. Any
