Hello,
I''ve installed xen-4.1.1 on with Gentoo xen-sources-2.6.34-r4 (both dom0 and domU) on an AMD athlon XP 32 bits.
I PCI passthrugh the whole USB-2.0 controler to the domU to gain access to my wifi dongle and everything works fine and stable.
However, I''ve got an USB drive that I want to use on my dom0 wich requires USB-2.0 too and then cannot use anymore the PCI passthrugh

Re: ttylinux and Error creating domain: vbd: Segment not found - new
Hello,
Thnks;
You are absolutely right.I changed it to point to
file:/root/ttylinux/ttylinux-xen , unmounted mnt
and had succeeded to create and log in to the new created domain.
Silly of me.

Re: 答复: Fedora 5 (host/gues
Hi,
I''m using eth2 on my dom0 for bridging. The change required is in the file:
/etc/xen/xend-config.sxp
You need to tell it which device to bridge when it calls the
network-bridge script, by using a line similar to:
(network-script ''network-bridge netdev=eth1 bridge=xenbr0'')
Note: the "bridge=xenbr0" part is needed in Fedora due to a current bug

Rudi,
I changed the repository files by enabling all. Now I have no make errors.
Up to the next problem. Something not Xenserver related. I''ll figure it
out, and let you know how it goes.

RE: [GIT/PATCH 0/5] Re: unfair servicing of DomU vbd requests
Hi James.
I go through the patch, since all its changes happens inside __xen_evtchn_do_upcall(),
so I apply the patch into my 2.6.31.kernel by manual. (I was failed to merge a usable,
2.6.38dom0, since quite a lot branch needed, such as blkback, netback)
But still, the blue screen shows up. Log attached.
Is the timeout better than before?
Beside, I think I need find some to examine my

Re: Centos5.1 x64 kernel works, x64xen doesnt. Fails withrepeated "drive appears confused".
CentOS 5.1 actually has at least Xen 3.1, I believe. CentOS 5.0 was a 3.0.x version, but 5.1 upgraded it...

RE: Newbie question - unable to start guest OS on Fedora 8 <solved>
OK, I managed to get past this problem. There were two issues - I did not have peth0 configured correctly (as you can see, the ifconfig output does not show a peth0). That was resolved by fixing my settings in the network manager. The second issue was that I don''t have a static IP address, so I selected the option for DHCP on wireless during the guest host setup. I switched to static IP

RE: [Xen-users] Re: upgrading Xen3.0.4-1 to Xen-unstable ...
Hi,
On a slightly different topic there seems to be some sort of issue with
Intel chipset 915G and windows 2003. The guests seem to stop responding
after some time unless you connect via VNC to the guest and move the
mouse over the window, the guest them comes back to life.
Another guy said it was like a symptom that he had seen before called
''lost interupt'' I was wondering if

RE: Re: [Xen-changelog] Fix NX/XD enable on secondary CPUs.
Whether the processor is in 32 or 64-bit mode, if NX is used, then
EFER_NX needs to be set. If NX isn''t used, then it''s a "Don''t care". I
think bad things happens if you set the NX bit in the page table and
don''t have EFER_NX set...

RE: Does my platform support VT? (dell 1855/Xeon/linu x)
Hi,
Stop me If I am wrong but DELL 1855 aren''t shipped with Dual Core Xeons ....
So you shouldn''t have any VT support on your server.
