Memory Leak with PHP
I understand that this problem may have very little to do with CentOs, but it happens to occur on a CentOS webserver and maybe you?ll have a clue. Since a few months, after many upgrades on several blogs (now running with PHP7), our server is eating up RAM no end. PHP processes swell to over 2 GB (each) and when the whole RAM and the whole swap are full, problems stack up and finally paralyze the

Samba 3.0.14 (Debian Sarge) Memory Leakage
Hi! Our Samba file server seems to have a memory leakage. We are using samba as file server out of the box (debian sarge) on kernel 2.6.16.31. After a while users who have some shares and files open are acquiring more and more memory until the smbd dies. Here is a small shortcut from top: PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 13843 gxxxxx 16 0 51792 44m 2552 S

Memory allocation problem
Dear R users, I am running a large loop over about 400 files. To outline generally, the code reads in the initial data file, then uses lookup text files to obtain more information before connecting to a SQL database using RODBC and extracting more data. Finally all this is polar plotted. My problem is that when the loop gets through 170 odd files it gives the error message: "Calloc could not

Import of Access data via RODBC changes column name ("NO" to "Expr1014") and the content of the column
Dear all, I have some problems with importing data from an Access data base via RODBC to R. The data base contains several tables, which all are imported consecutively. One table has a column with column name "NO". If I run the code attached on the bottom of the mail I get no complain, but the column name (name of the respective vector of the data.frame) is "Expr1014" instead

p-value from lm
I'd like to automatically plot the p-value and r^2 of a linear model. I know that I can extract r^2 with foo <- lm(y~x) a <- summary(foo) a$r.squared I can't find any similar functionality to obtain the p-value based on the ftest a$fstatistic returns the actual f-test and df, but not the p-value. Any thoughts? Thanks, Adam using R-0.65.1 Win32
