Hi all, I've just recently carried out 2 clean installs of SUSE SLES 10 (SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (i586) - Kernel 2.6.16.21-0.8-smp (0)) and have found on both occasions that the YAST configuration tool for SAMBA in this release is broken. Initial configuration seems to be OK, but whenever subsequent changes are made they are not reflected in smb.conf. Just a little frustrating!

All, This is a fresh, un-f#$ked-with OpenSUSE install after adding the Tumbleweed repository and doing a dup. I installed the Hypervisor with Tools for which it prompted me for Xen or QEMU and I chose Xen. No bridge was made. Hi, I have SLES 10 running (after much searching, reloading, and trial and error) a Samba PDC with LDAP. I have tried to use the many Samba as PDC documents out there, but none seemed to work. I even tried one from the Suse Site geared for SLES 10, no luck. I ended up using Yast2 to configure the server and get it running. It is accepting workstations, and user connections with one problem.
