[LLVMdev] Tilera LLVM backend
Hi, I would like to inform the community that I'm releasing the backend for tile64 I developed in the past several months. It can be downloaded from http://pnyf.inf.elte.hu/juhda/projects/tilera/ The version for LLVM 3.1 is a minimalist functioning implementation. Now I am working on utilizing the VLIW packetizer of LLVM, and other improvements are planned for the future. I would be

Can not boot Dom0 when using Anthony's new XenARM source for Arndale.
Hi Xen Developers, I had tested new XenARM for Arndale board that is updated in Anthony''s tree from 2 days ago. I expected that will be working. But, I can not boot Dom0 Kernel. I used kernel and XenARM both are from Xen Wiki(http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Xen_ARM_with_Virtualization_Extensions/Arndale). It (seems) stopped after "(XEN) Freed 212kB init memory" message. When I

[LLVMdev] structs get decomposed when shouldn't
Hi all, I'm new on the list, so I want to say hello for everybody! I'm from Hungary and writing a LLVM backend for Tile64 processor as my master's thesis. It's a big time pressure on me, so the thesis will probably describe a backend only providing an assembly printer, but the development is likely to be continued beyond the thesis. For now, I've run into a very annoying

Voice only works from one way.
Hello, everyone. Right now, we are trying launch our own PBX system based on Asterisk(Fedora) with Cisco 2611. Cisco has 2 port FXO card installed on it. For testing, I have 2611 hooked into phone line with number of xxx-xxx-xxxx fine. (I'll call it F). Using softphone, I can dial in extension 1001 on asterisk, which should talk to cisco. After initial connection to Asterisk, I have try to

[LLVMdev] Quest for more targets
Is anyone working on supporting additional targets used in embedded systems. I am particularly interested in two: 1. TI MSP430. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TI_MSP430 A nice very low power 16-bit machine with a PDP-11-like instruction set. We can assume the PIC16 developers have found and fixed all the 32-bit assumptions in the code base. Newer versions, the MSP430X series, have

[LLVMdev] Tile64 bundle-types and VLIW infrastructure
Hello, I've made a backend for Tile64 processor as my master's thesis. Of course, there is a lot to do in order to harness all the power of the processor, but LLVM programs already can be compiled to tile assembly. If anyone interested in the backend, just let me know and I release the code on our project site. One way to improve my backend is to utilize its ILP capabilities, so I'd

Re: [XenARM] Unable to find Python development headers
I am not an expert in cross-compiling, in fact Ian (still on vacation) is the one who set it up. I still compile tools natively. However I can tell you that you don''t actually need python, in reality in order to get the basic system working you only need to compile: tools/libxc tools/xenstore tools/console tools/libxl On Thu, 4 Apr 2013, Khandelwal, Shubham wrote: > Hi, > >

Re: [XenARM] Regarding Xen-ARM for Cortex-A8 on Fast Model Emulators [FME]
Questions about the port of Xen to ARM with virt extensions are best posted to xen-devel, the xen-arm list focuses on the PV port. Adding xen-devel since it seems you are mainly asking about the w/-virt-extensions port. [LLVMdev] DragonEgg3.3 support for gcc cross compilers
No. The gcc cross compiler being used (tilera-gcc) is indeed 64-bit. [LLVMdev] DragonEgg3.3 support for gcc cross compilers
I am using a gcc (v 4.8.2) cross compiler for the tilera architecture. There is an LLVM (v 3.3) cross compiler available for tilera ( http://tilera.github.io/llvm), but the frontend only has partial support for certain tilera intrinsics and no OpenMP support. Hence, I have decided to use DragonEgg (v 3.3) to resolve this. I was able to build DragonEgg, but when I pass the command line argument

[LLVMdev] DragonEgg3.3 support for gcc cross compilers
Hi Brian, Thanks for sharing your experience with dragonegg. I would like to use tilera-gcc as the compiler driver. native gcc would not be able to handle things like tilera specific intrinsics in the source code. I built dragonegg using GCC=/path/to/tilera-gcc48/bin/tile-gcc LLVM_CONFIG=/path/to/tilera-llvm/bin/tilegx-llvm-config make and also tried only emitting the IR

Configuring Xen + DRBD + Corosync + Pacemaker
Hi everyone, I need some help to setup my configuration failover system. My goal is to have a redundance system using Xen + DRBD + Corosync + Pacemaker On Xen I will have one virtual machine. When this computer has network down, I will do a Live migration to the second computer. The first configuration I will need is a crossover cable, won''t I? It is really necessary? Ok, I did it. eth0
