PXELINUX - TFTP Problems - Option Negotiation Failures
I apologize if this is the wrong place to be asking this, but I'm pretty much out of options on where to go. I'm using the pxelinux version of tftp. Everything has worked well up to this point, however I've been trying to impliment a pxe bartpe solution in our office. Unfortunatly tftp is not passing the files correctly to the client.
Here's the rundown.

Win32 programs can't find files on FAT32 partitions
I'm having trouble with opening files on fat32 partitions with
programs running under wine. The programs report that they can't find
the file, even though it exists. I can open files on reiser and iso9660
partitions successfully.
The simplest program I could find that exhibits this problem is
notepad. If I provide the filename on the command line, notepad.exe
tells me it can't find

FW: pxelinux and bar
Have a look at the 911cd forums. I wrote the initial thread on RAM
booting WinPE.
To answer to question... memdisk won't work with Windows. Windows uses
32bit access (direct HW access) and memdisk relies on the BIOS. Any
programs that don't use the BIOS disk interfaces will not work. The
other problem is the allocation of memory. Windows doesn't respect the
memdisk allocation.

snv 77 W2003 domu loses config on reboot/shutdown
Hi All,
I successfully installed a 32bit W2003 domu using the following config file (as the CD image wasn''t persistent between reboots, otherwise I would have used virt-install ;-) ) :
isk = [ ''file:/images/xvm/w2003/w2003-disk.raw,hdc,w'',''file:/images/isos/en_win_srv_2003_r2_enterprise_cd1.

s10 HVM 64-bit boot
Hi --
I wanted to boot s10 HVM in 64-bit mode but it always boots in 32-bit
mode. Is there a special grub entry to boot s10 HVM domU in 64-bit mode?
Or is it HVM loader?
The grub entry is like this
title Solaris 10 5/08 s10x_u5wos_01 X86
kernel /platform/i86pc/multiboot
module /platform/i86pc/boot_archive
s10.py file is as follows :-
import os, re
arch = os.uname()[4]

HVM Linux just installed but does not do its first boot
Just successfully installed SLES9.3-32bit as file-backended HVM domU.
Everything went OK, the distributive partitioned its "harddisk" into root and swap OK, have its grub installed into sda boot sector, but I could not make to boot no one single first time after installation. Every domU boot gives the following screen for a short time and dies:

CentOS 5 and Xen Windows domU
Has anyone been able to get a Xen Windows domU to install or work properly
on CentOS 5? I'm trying to do that now. It's able to boot and start he
installation (from ISO), but after partitioning the disk and copying a few
files to the hard drive, it cannot boot into the graphical installer. This
is the config file I'm using:

VNC console issues with fully-virtualized guests
Hi, gang. I''m having major issues with getting the VNC consoles to
accept keystrokes. I''m trying to get Windows 2003 Server SP2 to run
as a fully-virtualized guest. I get the VNC window for the installer,
but I can''t get it to accept any keystrokes (e.g. hitting the F5 so
I can tell it to use a standard PC HAL). If I opt to use SDL, I get
no console at all.

windows 2003 install trhough vnc problem
Hello,
I want to install a 2003 guest on a Debian Etch with xen binary
packages (apt-get install), but through a vnc console (no graphical
interface). So I launch the xm create in an ssh connection, and want
to connect through vnc to complete the installation of windows.
So the domain gets created with xm create but no VNC port is displayed:

Problems with Network Bridge HVM DomU Debian Squeeze running over Kernel 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 Debian Xen 4
Hello community!
I need help with a problem I haven''t been solved with the network team.
I manage a network that has over a thousand computers, and the most of the
servers are virtualized over Debian / Xen by me.
The specific issue arises when I try to set up a DomU HVM running Debian
Squeeze, the VM doesn''''t recognize the network but it runs. It gives an

DMA and Configuration read issues
Hi,
We've deployed Xen 3.0.2-2 successfully on a CentOS 4.3 installation running on a Dell PE 2950 servers. On a HVM/VMX guest also running CentOS 4.3 with the configuration below, we see occasional DMA messages in the guests dmesg output, they don't occur often and for no obvious reason - it seems they normally occur when the load on the host system is low.

A problem about xen no-iommu graphics card passthough
Hi!
I want to make windows work with native graphics card on xen with no iommu (no vt-d) support. With many googling, I find that xen with Neocleuse 1:1 No-IOMMU passthough patches maybe can meet my requestment.
I download and compile a copy of direct-io.hg source, and pass my graphics card to hvm
