[PATCH] xen: arm: make zImage the default target which we install
From: Ian Campbell <ian.campbell@citrix.com> The zImage compatible binary is the useful one on real hardware. The relocated ELF thing is only really useful when booting directly on Fast Models. The customary suffix for that case is .axf so provide that as a target. Signed-off-by: Ian Campbell <ian.campbell@citrix.com> Cc: Wookey <wookey@linaro.org> --- xen/arch/arm/Makefile |

32 bit applications on 64 bit machine
Hi people, I have a 64 bit Centos machine. My problem is that I can't run 32 bit applications on that. I can compile with the 32 bit option my sources, but when I'm trying to run them I obtain the following error message: -bash: ./a.out: cannot execute binary file And the file a.out returns the following: a.out: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), for GNU/Linux

sample sleep command killed
I re-wrote the compile script to build klibc (cleaning up how I do it, and how to find the source tarballs). It seems to be compiling fine. I tried several of the commands in usr/utils/static and most one. However, the sleep command fails in a strange way (EINVAL on execve): ================================================================ faraday/phil /home/phil/klibc-project-0 581> strace

Invalid or unsupported executable format, or is it a reiserfs problem?
Our newly build xen kernel does not boot. The error message is : Invalid or unsupported executable format. I have build xen from the xen-2.0.4 source (make world, make install) on a debian sarge system. I have not changed any of the kernel configurations, I did make an initrd image. The entry in my menu.lst is : title Debian GNU/Linux, kernel 2.6.10-xen0 root (hd0,0) #

How is this possible?
As an experiment, I am attempting to build a more recent version of GNOME than 2.16.0 on CentOS 5.1. I've tried both garnome and jhbuild, and neither one works quite right. Jhbuild blows out looking for a dbus-glib-1 revision >= 0/74 (the release rev is 0.70), so I downloaded that and tried to build it. This results in the following error: gcc -g -O2 -Wall -Wchar-subscripts
