NAS with Samba and Multi-TT USB Hubs
Dear Sir or Madam, I've a very specific question about samba... My setup: I've a Raspberry 3B with Raspbian and a multi-TT USB hub attached to it. A few full-speed (1MB/s) mass-storage devices are going to be connected to this hub. On every device is just one big file (f.e. 50MB .txt file). Multi-TT just helps reading more full-speed devices on a single hub simultaneously. This works

USB blues
I have a freshly built, updated EL6 system and am having problems with USB stability - at boot everything works fine but within a few hours, USB devices start disappearing randomly. At first I though the USB devices were suspect, but removing the suspect devices and an accessory PCIE USB card hasn't changed anything. As of now, a single USB device is working. (which is lucky, it hosts the

Nut 2.7.2 on OpenBSD 5.6 with APC USB UPS
I have an APC USB UPS that was working on OpenBSD 5.5 with NUT 2.7.1 When I installed the latest 5.6 snapshot with NUT 2.7.2 the UPS no longer sends status messages when it loses line power. I asked over on the OpenBSD ports list and so far haven't had any luck getting this to work again. I disabled upd at boot as was suggested and that didn't change anything except stopping the

INFOSEC 500 XP usb support
Hi everybody, In a christmas sequel I've been offered one of the units mentioned above. I've tried to connect it to my Fedora 8 workstation but rapidly concluded it's not yet supported by NUT. So far, I've decompiled the Java classes of the manufacturer's application and noticed that it's most probably yet another kind of serial protocol through the USB. Since

USB printer not working in a Linux domU
I am trying to get a USB printer to work in a Linux domU. I am using Xen 3.0.3 and the Xen Linux kernel 2.6.16.40. I have hidden the USB controller''s PCI devices from dom0 and exported them to domU, and build the domU kernel with the necessary device support. When I boot the xenU kernel, it lists an error from the USB printer class code that allocating a write buffer failed. This is an 8k
