Hello After updating to the 2.6.9-42 kernel, one of my boxes stall during boot with hdc lost interrupt ide-cd:cmd 0x3 timed out The older 2.6.9-35 kernel boots fine. This is a Compaq Proliant PL360. I can only vouch for one program, but this is reproducible. Running SimCity4 occasionally when an interrupt occurs, sometimes as little as an extra mouse click and always on a context switch, the sound from the program is lost and does not recover.
