Gang,
???? I run several KVM host machines.? Due to updates, maintenance,
and unexpected reboots sometime host machines are restarted.? I can
easily envision a scenario where HostX needs some critical packages

Multipathing with Sun 7310
Dear list,
we have a relatively new Sun Storage 7310, where we connect CentOS 5.5
Servers (IBM LS21/LS41 Blades) via Brocade Switches, 4GBit FC. The Blades
boot from SAN via qla2xxx, and have no harddisks at all. We want them to
use multipathing from the very beginning, so /boot and / are already seen
by multipathd. Problem is, that the Sun 7310 has two storage heads which

Input from xen hosting providers?
This is my second mail because the first one turned into a two page novel.
Basically my question is this, what is your opinion on the following,
in regards to having to know about the os and USE in your hosting
environtment. Here is my problem...
We have a sales guy that sold people on the idea of having 4 windows
clients, and 2 "filestore" servers. filestore1 backs up to filestore2

User auth problem
Hi,
Disregard the message from me last week, I wasn't thinking clearly.
Here is my problem, I've got a user, call him USERNAMEX, signing into a
samba drive that is a mounted NT drive.
I'm mapping all of these users to 1 acct on the samba server (using
smbusers).
This users sign into a Windows NT Domain, and all of the users (except
USERNAMEX) have the domain password as their only

ecryptfs (from centosplus) and libvirt lxc quest on it - quest upon start shoots host in the head
hi guys
I have a lxc guest on Dell's R815(AMD Opterons) which I just moved to an
ecryptfs mounted folder(using centosplus' kernel C7.5)
Copying data to that folder seems to work just fine, but I as soon as I
start the quest, the host gets shot in the head almost immediately, hard
reboot, no dump.
I also have another, virtually identical guest but on Intel platform and

Resize guest filesystem question
Greetings -
I am going through some testing steps to expand a logical volume and the
corresponding filesystem on a KVM guest and have run across a deficiency in
my knowledge. I spent the afternoon yesterday googling for answers, but had
have come up blank still. What I am trying to do is resize the file system
to use the additional disk space that I added to the logical volume that the

[LLVMdev] Quest - Automatic testing script
Hello,
I was inspired by the Quest tool and decided to give it a try on LLVM.
It quickly located two bugs which appear to be in the bug database already:
Bug #279 - [llvmgcc] "constructor" code generation can be improved
Although, the code that Quest generates actually *crashes* LLVM instead
of producing poor output. Should this be added as a separate bug, or just
