Paravirtualized Linux with graphics (X Window)?
Hi, Anybody please tell me how to have a PV Linux with graphics? I succesfully created some PV Linux with debootstrap and xen-tools. But then all the images must be started with "xm create -c" command, and everything then is console, with no X Window. In short, I want to have PV Linux, but with X. How to do that? Thanks, H _______________________________________________ Xen-users

PV-GRUB chainloading Grub2
Hey guys, what I am trying to do is a chainload into grub2 installation in a DomU. So far I determined, PV-GRUB does not understand grub2''s grub.cfg notation. So I created a dummy menu.lst which has the needed root kernel and initrd rows and then referenced this to the DomUs config. The main intention to do this, is to be able to use kernel upgrades without touching the menu.lst for

Re: Re : Re: Re : Re: Re : Re: Re : Re: Re : Re: Re : Re: Re : Re: Re : Re: Installing Ubuntu 10.04 on Xen and Centos 5.5
For those of you that are stuck on and old version of Xen and want to use Ubuntu 10.04, here is a self contained pygrub, out of Xen 4.01. (64bit centos dom0) cd /opt wget http://dmarkey.com/~dmarkey/pygrub64.tar.gz tar zxvf pygrub64.tar.gz then set your bootloader to /opt/pygrub64/bin/pygrub Regards, David _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list

K/Ubuntu 11.04 and XEN 4.1 - Possible?
Ok running Kubuntu 11.04, is it possible to get XEN 4.1 installed to virtual a laptop running Kubuntu ? I seriously dont want to use Vbox or KVM, and need to run other OS for development, so XEN virtualization on a 8 core laptop with 16 gig memory seem the best bet for mobile development _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com

GPL PV drivers for Windows 0.10.0.50
I''ve just uploaded 0.10.0.50 which fixes a few bugs related to high network load (BSoD''s & packet corruption). It should upgrade any previous 0.10.x.x. Additionally, I''ve also uploaded uninstall_0.9.x.txt (rename it to .bat) which will uninstall 0.9.x drivers. After running that, reboot and they should be gone. Please do a backup first though as I have only tested
