[LLVMdev] Remove function from module
Thanks, but I replaceAllUsesWith() - works well, but I still get bug in eraseFromParent():
While deleting: i32 (%class.B*, i32)* %_ZN1B1xEi
An asserting value handle still pointed to this value!
UNREACHABLE executed at /Users/neonomaly/LLVM/LLVM/lib/VMCore/Value.cpp:561!
Yours sincerely,
Kadysev Mikhail

Yes, I understand. I just don't understand why there are 15 review links.
as to the format of the list, we previously had a list of feature for 4.5 (before it was fully supported), we can reuse this old format.

I don't know where it comes from, currently there is just 2 patches with the new functionality : mapper implementation in clang and in the runtime. Plus the patch for unified memory.

Debug info for CUDA code
Are you planning to release this as soon as it's ready or you want to make it into a major release? Is it possible to let me know (maybe by replying to this thread) once the code is ready? I know sometimes it takes a while to get things in the major release. I greatly appreciate your work on this!
Thanks,
Char

Ah, then you'll need to update the CallGraph first. Use
"CG.removeFunctionFromModule(F);" before deleting it.

[LLVMdev] [Openmp-dev] OpenMP 3.1 Implementation Complete
No, just changing defaults -- subject to code reviewers approval.
As I said before, I prefer to leave library naming to library pros.

Jack,
Alexey [Bataev] promised to send it for review in a day or two. Then it should be approved by code reviewers, which might take some time.

Hmm, it is interesting. What's missing? and why it is "a lot". It is the status for clang 8.0. There were not too many changes in trunk since last release.

Compilation issues
Hello,
May I ask anyone responsible to either fix or revert r326109 and r326110, which effectively broke LLVM compilation with clang?
Str is const now (https://reviews.llvm.org/D43436#C985082NL45 <https://reviews.llvm.org/D43436#C985082NL45>), and later on a move constructor on const is performed (https://reviews.llvm.org/D43436#C985082NL64

Fair que between 255 users
Hello guys
I have a subnet with 255 users, which need to share 1 single slow internet
connection, so i would like to implement a kind of *fair queuing *on the
UPLOAD between them, which means that they all share the connection
equally..
The tools that i have available is: A linux box with IPROUTE2,HTB and TC..
I have looked at some examples, and my first idea was to make 255 entries in

ThinLTO status in trunk?
Hi Teresa,
Impressive results, indeed! (But no less is expected from an Itanium alumni... ;-))
One question, if you don't mind. In the blog post you wrote: "In a few cases ThinLTO even outperforms full LTO, most likely because the higher scalability of ThinLTO allows using a more aggressive backend optimization pipeline (similar to that of a non-LTO build)." Is it due to

I’ll fix the bogus `std::move`. That being said, how up to date is your checkout of clang-tools-extra?

Jack, this is not a problem of this patch, this a problem of your
configuration. This patch uses standard clang machinery for locating
libiomp5 library.

Hi Char, I found the problem, for some reason the last patch was applied
correctly. Just committed the fixed version. Tried to compile axpy.cu,
everything works.

Debug info for CUDA code
Hi Alexey,
I submitted the bug report to nvidia. While they are working on it, can you share some insight in what could potentially cause this? I just want to get a sense if such a bug require significant amount of work to fix, which can help me make some decision moving forward with my project.
Thanks,
Char

Hi Alexey,
Just want to make sure I understand what you said because I'm not familiar with the llvm pipeline, it's this line:
