Hello, http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=ubuntu_1110_xenkvm&num=1 Ubuntu 11.10 with Xen 4.1.1 and Linux 3.0. Xen seems to be doing very poorly on that benchmark. xen 3.3.0 + intrepid domU (2.6.27-7-server) + >4gb ram problem
Hi, we''re using Xen 3.3.0 on Debian Etch with 2.6.18.8 kernel from xen.org on dom0. We have problems starting Intrepid domU (using Intrepid''s kernel 2.6.27-7-server) if we give more than 4GB of memory to this domain. Using memory = ''4096'' works perfectly, but changing it to ''4097'' already gives an error. Can anyone put some light on this?

Guys, I''ve successfully ran dom0/domU (both Debian) in my local laptop using 2.6.32.15 dom0 with xen-4.0.1-rc3-pre. Great. Now I want to install it into couple of test-machines without compiling from source. So I did following.. a. make dist-xen b. make dist-tools PYTHON_PREFIX_ARG="--install-layout=deb" c. make dist-stubdom This

Can''t boot converted SLES11SP2/OES11 domU
I have a physical SLES11SP2/OES11 system that I''ve converted to a domU. It''s boots ok as an HVM, but when I try to boot as a PV it gets stuck. I have the kernel-xen packages installed and confident the menu.lst is correct. If I look at xm console for the VM I get the output below: Any ideas? Questions about installing Xen with Ununtu 9.04
Hi, I have some question about how to install xen in ubuntu 9.04. I read some instructions online that said to install "ubuntu-xen-server". Is that all I need to run xen kernel? After installing ubuntu-xen-server I know have a kernel called linux-2.6.28-18-server. Is linux-2.6.28-18-server dom0? I am not sure if I am installing all packages required to have xen running. I would

PCI passthrough to domU does not work with XEN 3.3
Hi! As dom0 I''m running Ubuntu Hardy withe xen 3.3 from backports. Reason to using xen 3.3 is that I could get Intrepid stock kernel to work as domu with xen 3.2. Now the problem I have is that I can''t passthrough PCI-devices to my domu. If I run lspci in the domu nothing is returned. I''ve tried to use the kernel from Hardy (2.6.24-21-xen) and stock kernel from

Install ubunto domU
Dear *, I''m more used to work with RedHat like OSes. Still, I did not denied the request from a user who wants a domU based on ubunto. I usually use virt-install to do the job, with a script similar to this one: #!/bin/sh BASE=SL-4.7-i386-pv \ virt-install --nographics \ --nonsparse \ --paravirt \ --noreboot \
