Debian Lenny packages for 3.3.1?
My Dom0 is setup very minimally as a Debian 5/Lenny. I see the current Xen package is 3.2-1, and I''d like to get the current 3.3.1 for the better VT support for HVMs. Does anyone out there have packages for this, as I''d rather not bulk up my Dom0 with the whole GCC toolchain necessary to compile 3.3.1. Thanks in advance. -- Chris ''Xenon'' Hanson, omo sanza

"XENBUS: Device with no driver" errors on Debian
I am running debian lenny, with the standard Xen 3.2 packages, with the 2.6.18-6-xen-686 kernel as dom0, and 2.6.24-1-xen-686 as domU. Everything is working fine apart from the console and the PCI passthrough. I am getting these errors in the domU on startup: XENBUS: Device with no driver: device/pci/0 XENBUS: Device with no driver: device/console/0 Does this mean the modules are missing?

Hello, I can''t solve my problem. I want a 32 bits Lenny domU into a 64 bits Lenny dom0. I plan to use pygrub for that (xen 3.2.1). So, I tried to debootstrap a 32 bits domU into a 64 bits dom0. debootstrap --arch=i386 --include=libc6-xen,firmware-bnx2,linux-image-2.6.26-1-xen-686,linux-modules-xen-686,linux-image-xen-686,grub --components=main,contrib,non-free lenny /mnt/xen

Optimal Configuration
Hey all First off, ive just switched to using mongrel_cluster and pound - its working a treat! Its far far faster than fast-cgi: operations that took a few seconds on fcgi now are almost instant with mongrel. Excellent! However, I''ve been trying to decide how best to utilise my equipment most effectively. I have a dual pro 3Ghz Xenon with 2GB RAM, and the server will be running a few

Xen status in lenny?
Hi, AFAIK, the status of Xen in lenny is currently the following: - no dom0 kernel - domU kernel only for i386 (no domU kernel for amd64) I was told (I don't remember where) that this is because the vanilla kernel only supports domU for i386, and has no dom0 support, so distros have to port the patches to their kernels (please correct me if I'm wrong). However: - etch shipped with dom0

slowness of plot(x, type='l')
A couple of days ago a few messages indicated that something changed in the basic plot routine that made plot(*, type='l') slow for large data sets. Some people even reported crashes for very large data sets. As far as I remember, this was not reported as a formal bug. I am still not sure if this is a bug, so I report my findings here. First of all, I think I see a slowdown of the plot

Checksumming problem in pv_ops dom0 kernel / netback
Hello, I seem to be having some troubles regarding the latest 2.6.31.6 and 2.6.32.9 Xen dom0 pv_ops trees. Our platform: -Xen 3.4.3-rc3 (also tried 3.4.2 on 2.6.31.6 pv_ops dom0) -2.6.32.9 pv_ops dom0 kernel, perhaps a week old checkout from xen/stable git (can provide changeset if requested). -100+ domU''s, all PV. network problems
So, I have been running into network problems for a while on 4 boxes that I installed xen on so that some engineers have places to test code. This particular problem is happening on all 4 of these boxes. (although, it isn''t happening on an older box running xen from debian etch). What appears to be the problem is that traffic is getting dropped between the vif#.0 interface in dom0

Weird Network issue
Hi all: I am pretty new to xen, but ,thanks to you, I am learning fast :) I have a Dell Poweredge 2950 server running Debian Lenny as Dom0 named Asgard I have configured three DomU (Loki, Hermod and Thor) with DHCP support. All the machines (Dom0 and DomU''s) ask for an IP address to a DHCP server in the Office LAN. The DHCP server is configured to bind certain IP addresses to the Dom0
