Live Streams
Hello, i am member of red5 project. I am studying ways to integrate your codec into red5 and in a near future inside Flash Player. I want to figure some things about Theora codec. -> Is theora proper for live streams (i.e live transcondig webcam)? What is latency for encoding process? -> Is the format tolerant to lost frames? Thanks for the moment.

Limited write bandwidth from ext3
We are running a benchmark that does single threaded 512 KB writes to a LUN on a CLARiiON storage array. The dual Xeon host (Dell 2650) with 4 GB of memory runs RHEL 4U3 We measured the write bandwidth for writes to the block device corresponding to the lun (e.g. /dev/sdb), a file in an ext2 filesystem and to a file in an ext3 file system. Shared Squat index for public mailboxes
Hi, I'm running Dovecot 1.2.17 for serving mail via IMAP as well as for providing access to a mailing list archive. The archive is implemented as a public read-only mailbox with per-user index files (i.e. the \Seen flags are per-user). I recently enbled the Squat plugin to accelerate searches in the message bodies and noticed that every user (I'm using a virtual user setup) gets his

Offline indexing issues
If I disable ferret in my environment file and then run a cron job every hour to index the records that have been added/changed, do I enable Ferret just in the script that does the hourly indexing? Or do I somehow need to tell the process that runs the Ferret DRB server that it should start writing to the index again? Thanks in advance. Erik

handling multitrack Ogg
It sounds like you're on the right track. There are 2 places I would start looking - DVD's, and Quicktime. Quicktime is mature and the container is the basis for mp4 and 3gp. Can you find a way to transcode to Ogg maintaining the track information? As someone who makes videos, its beyond me to translate audio to other languages, but I would be interested in doing commentary tracks.

Hi all, In discussions with the video accessibility subgroup of the W3C HTML working group, we are currently looking at how to deal with multitrack video, e.g. such video that has a main video and audio track, plus e.g. a sign language video track, an audio description audio track, a caption

Can you get page dirtying information on non-migrating VMs?
Hello everyone, I've been looking through the libvirt API to get information about memory page dirtying of VMs. I need these to aid decisions on which VM to migrate. The only thing I found is virDomainGetJobStats() with VIR_DOMAIN_JOB_MEMORY_DIRTY_RATE but that only works when a migration is already running. Is there a way to get information on VMs which are not already migrating? Thanks

Fixing a rejected peer
Please run 'gluster v get all cluster.max-op-version' and what ever value it throws up should be used to bump up the cluster.op-version (gluster v set all cluster.op-version <value>) . With that if you restart the rejected peer I believe the problem should go away, if it doesn't I'd need to investigate further once you can pass down the glusterd and cmd_history log files and

Tru64 and OSF/1 Privsep patch
Ok.. I need wider testing for this. I'm getting reports back it works mostly. 'ssh site ls' fails, but they can login with Privsep enbled. Can I get those who are using Tru64 or OSF/1 that have SIA enabled to test? This should apple to either -cvs or the current snapshot (I would perfer not to use 3.4p1 due to bugs). I'm going on a trip next week and will be around very spotty

Bug #16760
Hi, I just submitted bug #16760. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. (svn failed too, but I can''t say if this is the same error. If this is a dependency issue, the main web page should be updated too.) I''m just trying to run wxruby and go through the tutorial, but also want enter it as a new package for the SourceMage GNU/Linux distribution. Thanks.
