Accepted and forgotten. It just reminds us to check on our prejudices once

You actually had to click the link on the page you posted to get this:

EG, if i set:
pdbedit -P "maximum password age" -C 7776000
and i change my password, 'Password must change' have a meningful value,
eg 90 days more then the last password change:
root at armitage:~# pdbedit -v

In place editor with Textile
Hi!
In my application I have several in-place editable fields that are formatted
using textile.
Following script.aculo.us documentation I created all of them by hand.
I wonder if someone have created a helper that would simplify creating
those?

Modules, controllers and inheritance
Hi!
I was trying to cleanup my app and I runned into quite a problem. My
controllers in submodule do not seem to inherit things from base
class.
I have following setup:
app/controllers/
application.rb:
class ApplicationController
admin/
admin_controller.rb:
class Admin::AdminController < ApplicationController
include LoginEngine
include UserEngine

Dear R help
Is there a way for R to ignore NA entries in a data set.
I find I can do box plots for certain columns that have no NA entries but
cannot do histograms or boxplots for the other columns that have NA entries

CSS live edit with ajax (part of Zena)
I posted a snippet (http://textsnippets.com/posts/show/857) on how to
use AJAX to edit your CSS without having to reload pages.
It''s fast and makes my life a lot easier...
Gaspard
PS: This trick is used to build ''Zena'', a rails based CMS which will go
open source during this winter.

I think this might be useful to others as there are some trickery ruby
things in this
file.
Here is the template : http://textsnippets.com/posts/show/384

portupgrade(1) | portmaster(8) -- which is more effective for large upgrade?
Greetings,
I haven't upgraded my tree(s) for awhile. My last attempt to rebuild after an updating
src && ports, resulted in nearly installing the entire ports tree, which is why I've
waited so long. Try as I might, I've had great difficulty finding something that will
_only_ upgrade what I already have installed, _and_ respect the "options" used during the

Hi all,
I''m currently trying to get Mongrel running my app whilst fronted by
apache 2.2 in a sub-directory via https. A bit convoluted I''ll grant
you but necessitated by existing systems.
The pertinent parts of my httpd.conf:
<VirtualHost 123.123.123.123:12345> #historic choice of random port number
DocumentRoot /var/www/admin

I just installed a new version of wine and wine stopped working.
It starts and I am getting a message that I have no permition to write on

athlon64/opteron 8GB per CPU
I'm putting together a spec for a big(ger) memory x86_64 host, and I hope some
of you-all can help. I'm looking for success stories of hardware that folks
are using in production environments, preferably with CentOS 4, with more than
4GB of memory per CPU.
I know there are lots of mobos out there that can do this, but I'm looking for
what folks really have running. Call me
