Xen domU''s and iscsi initaitor problems.
Hello, I have been using Xen now for several months and have been
quite successful until attempting to utilize iscsi within my domU''s.
My research has turned up many posts of people using iscsi with no
problems, and I have found no others with the problem I seem to be
experiencing. If this has been covered on this list in the past,
please accept my humble apologies.

dm-multipath use
Are folks in the Centos community succesfully using device-mapper-multipath?
I am looking to deploy it for error handling on our iSCSI setup but there
seems to be little traffic about this package on the Centos forums, as far
as I can tell, and there seems to be a number of small issues based on my
reading the dm-multipath developer lists and related resources.

Help setting up multipathing on CentOS 4.7 to an Equallogic iSCSI target
I'm trying to test out an Equallogic PS5500 with a server running CentOS 4.7
I can create a volume and mount it fine using the standard
iscsi-initiator-utils tools.
The Equallogic box has 3 Gigabit interfaces and I would like to try to
set up things so I can read/write from/to the volume using multiple NICs
on the server i.e. get 200+ Mbyte/s access to the volume - I've had some

working with multiple password protected iSCSI targets on one host
Hi,
How do I setup multiple password protected iSCSI targets on Linux?
I know that mounting a password protected iSCSI target requires modify
these records with the appropriate values:
node.session.auth.username = My_ISCSI_USR_NAME
node.session.auth.password = MyPassword
discovery.sendtargets.auth.username = My_ISCSI_USR_NAME
discovery.sendtargets.auth.password = MyPassword
But, now I need

Dovecot and SATA Backend
Hi all,
I plan to run a dovecot IMAPS and POPS service on our network. We
handle about 3 000 mailboxes. I thought first buying a topnotch server
(8 cores and 16 Go RAM) with equalogic iSCSI SAN SAS 15K for storage
backend.
On second though (and after a comprhensive read of dovecot features),
I saw in http://wiki.dovecot.org/MailLocation that index files can be

iSCSI storage pool autostart
Hello everyone,
I have recently installed libvirt 1.0.0 and am having a problem with my
iSCSI storage pool's autostarting. They are just going to an inactive state
right after a reboot of the host. However once the startup is complete I
can manually start the pool without problem.
I am getting the following errors in the libvirtd.log file but they don't
really give me much as to what

Hi everybody,
i hope that i'm on the right mailing list. I'm having some trouble with
xfs and xen. We are running the newest xenserver version with ha on dell
servers and a dell equalogic.
I set up a fileserver (debian lenny 2.6.29-xs5.5.0.17) with one ext3
partiton for the os and one xfs partition for the data. Two webserver

Having snapshot technology is great. Who else supports it?

[PATCH node] iscsi remote root basework This lays most of the groundwork for iscsi installation and configuration. At this time configuring iscsi is disabled due to multiple issues with dependent pieces.
- dracut does not currently support booting a dmsquash file system on an iscsiroot
- can not be configured in standalone mode since networking is not up, although works fine if ovirt-config-setup is run once booted.

iSCSI on a single interface?
Hi, are there currently any plans to make an iSCSI target created by
setting shareiscsi=on on a zvol
bindable to a single interface (setting tpgt or acls)?
I can cobble something together with ipfilter,
but that doesn''t give me enough granularity to say something like:
''host a can see target 1, host c can see targets 2-9'', etc.
Also, am I right in thinking without

Connect libvirt to iSCSI target
Hi!
I'm new to libvirt and face problems connecting to an iSCSI target.
What I intend to do is to connect libvirt (I tried virt-manager and
virsh) to an iSCSI target and then boot from the LUNs which contain
the VMs.
I followed the documentation¹ but got stuck at section 12.1.5.4.3.

Problems with scsi-target-utils when hosted on dom0 centos 7 xen box
By natively, I take it using
kernel /vmlinuz (vs kernel /xen)
Not yet, but working on setting up such an environment.
(At this time, I was using virt-install to reproduce the problem, and
the original server we are testing on did not support kvm but the 2nd
server does).
