Is there any performance/signficant diferences between the two modes
besides the pci number re-ordering? Where I can found more about it as
the documentations doesnt seems to cover much.

Centos 5.1, mythtv, saa7134_dvb?
I'm trying to set up my Centos 5.1 box at home to run mythtv.
The DVB-T card requires saa7134 and saa7134_dvb.
These are not in the Centos kernels.
Centosplus has saa7134, but not saa7134_dvb.
Do I have to compile the kernel myself, or is there a trick?

issue with ivtv & wctdm zaptel drivers (TDM PCI Master abort)
Hi,
I'm experiencing an issue with my x86_64 machine containing a Hauppauge
PVR-500 (ivtv) and a Digium TDM400p (wctdm, part of zaptel) PCI cards.
Independently of each other both cards work fine, but once the wctdm driver
is loaded and mythtv tries to record something on the PVR-500 the wctdm
driver freaks out. The error message is see is "TDM PCI Master abort"

wireframe - add data points
Hello all,
I’m trying to add some data points to a wireframe. X an Y axis are independent variables, Z axis is predicted probability. I’d like to add the original data points on which the predicted probabilities are based to the wireframe. I’ve followed some of the previous post on this but get stuck :

OT: DVB-T TV on CentOS 4.4
Hi Folks,
is a question special to centos-user in germany I think.
I use centos on a desktop-system (yes, I know that centos is special for
servers) and I watch TV with an anaolg card. The qualitiy is not so high.
Now, I'm planning the use of an DVB-T Adapter. My question: There are any
experience or knowing problems with these kind of adapters and centos?
And which Adapter is

Lyra or other portable devices
I was reading in the archives that people were looking
into how to play ogg orbis on the Lyra. Did anything
happen with that?
I have a lyra, and I'm looking into buying another mp3
player soon-- if there is a way to play ogg vorbis on
one of the ones I'm looking at, I'd really like to
know.

PCI Devices, hotplug and performance
Hi there,
I´m running xen-3 unstable with kernel source pulled from mercurial
repository a couple of weeks ago. I´m hiding a few PCI devices from Dom0
using the pci.hide option but hotplug still can find the devices, is this
supposed to happen? To be on safe side I´m blacklisting those devices in
Dom0 hotplug configuration. I just saw that the PCI hiding configuration was

Ability to pass-through a PCI videocard & PCI USB card?
Hi All!
Quick question as I''m wondering if this is possible.
On a Intel-VT enabled machine (Intel Xeon X3220 on an Intel 3000 Series
Chipset), if I have a PCI video-card and a PCI USB card, would it be
possible to do a PCI pass-through on those two PCI devices to a guest
domain? I''m assuming the PCI USB card would be fairly easy, but my gut
instinct on the PCI video-card is

NUT stopped working after an upgrade
Nut should be running as user nut. As far as I can tell, the udev rules
have not changed. And the system IS seeing the UPS at a low level.
I looked through /dev/ but did not see a device that jumps out as the UPS.
