Error rpmbuild Glusterfs 3.1.3
Hi,
i have a lot of troubles when i try to build rpm?s out of the glusterfs
3.1.3 tgz on my SLES Servers (SLES10.1 & SLES11.1)
all is running fine i guess until it try?s to build the rpm?s.
Then i always run into this error :
RPM build errors:
File not found:
/var/tmp/glusterfs-3.1.3-1-root/opt/glusterfs/3.1.3/local/libexec/gsyncd

barplots
Hello,
I have somewhat of a weird data set and am attempting to create a barplot
with it.
I have 8 columns with different variables and their percentages. I have 1
column with representations of 4 different treatments the variables undergo.
I also have 1 column with year the data was recorded. I want to create a bar
plot that plots all 8 variables grouped by treatment and year.

Sorting results by a "sort expression"

We currently use Sphinx for our website search function, but we're planning
on using Xapian instead for a few of the extra features it has. Our website
is written in Ruby on Rails, so of course we're using Xapian with Ruby
bindings. I don't know if you're familiar with Sphinx but Sphinx allows you
to pass a sort expression when you execute the search that will be evaluated

OpenSSH - configure
Hi there !
I'm just building OpenSSH 3.1 and just found out that the 'configure'
script seems to have the same bug as the one provided with 3.0.1: the
resulting Makefile has a wrong entry in the include list (.../lib instead
of .../include). Looking at the prefix, I suppose this is caused by either
'--with-zlib' or '--with-ssl-dir' but I didn't check this in detail

month increment for chron dates
I have a vector of over 7,000 chron dates in the format "mm/dd/yy". I need
to increment each date in the vector by a standard number of months.
Lapply with seq.dates is working OK; this increments the vector x by 3
months:
dates(unlist(lapply(x, function(g) seq.dates(g, by="months", length=4)[4])))
But this takes about 55 seconds to run on a Windows XP 1.8 Pentium 512 RAM

Changing IMAP separator - does it break things?
Dear Colleagues,
I am using Dovecot 2.3.4.1 with maildirs. Just found out that MacOS Mail
clients cannot work with nested folders, presumably because the MacOS
Mail does not understand "." as the IMAP separator.
Other clients (ThunderBird, Sylpheed, mutt) work fine.
Do you think I can change the hierarchy separator in the "inbox"
namespace without breaking other clients and

Thank you for your response. In answer to your questions I made a file
global-acls containing:

Outages serverl times a day
Hi Peoples,
i hope any one can help me to solve the Problem we are facing here.
We have 7 clients connected two Servers (distributed and replicated) ,
the File system is EXT3.
The used Glusterfs Version is 3.0.7
On the Servers is one Raid5 Lun mounted on the Folder X, in that folder
are 5 Sub-folders witch are exported to the clients.
3 clients are connected to Sub-folder A, 1 is connected to

Searchable archieves??
Hello all
Being new on this list I would like to search the archieves before posting,
but unfortunately I cannot find out how to perform such a search. So it looks
as if I'll have to ask for help before searching the archieves anyway.
How does one search for keywords in the archieve?

I am coding an application capable of playing theora movies using libtheora and libogg.
Now, I need to know the duration of a theora movie in frames.
I seem to be unable to find that information in the using either libtheora or libogg.
Google gave a hit proposing to read the file backwards till the magic "OggS" could be
