Idea to enhance migration from UW-Imap
Hello, i want to migrate from UW-Imap to dovecot, but want to avoid changing clients (that would be really hard to do). All my users have their Mailboxes in ~/Mail. My idea would be now to strip off "Mail" from the imap commands, so that both a client which prepends "Mail" as well as one who doesn't would see the same mailboxes. Can somebody give me a hint where in

Large Papersizes
Hello, i use Serverside printerdrivers, and since 2.2.5 it seems to work well, but on problem remains: I installed a driver for the HP 750 Designjet with cupsaddsmb. This drivers works well, but only up to A2. The Printer Properties don't let me choose larger paper sizes than A2 (I need definitly A1 and A0 ). I tried to create new forms trough server properties, but it does not work. Is

I've tried last week a trial version of .net 2003 Server RC2 (I heard it will be named "Windows 2003 Server" when it cames out). I was able to add it to a Samba Domain with 2.2.7 as PDC,

spoolss printing: downloading printing preferences in W2K
I have heard something about a 'known bug in 2.2.4' so this might already be known. If so, I just want to get confirmation... I have a new samba 2.2.4 running on a RH7.2 box, running solely as printserv. The spoolss printing functionality is working fine: uploading drivers works ok (aside from a few APW quirks if you change drivers). I'm using CUPS as unix printing backend. The

rsync-3.0.8: problem with installing man pages when using seperate build dir
Hi all, there is a little problem when building rsync outside it's source dir with installing the man pages: they are not found and therefor not installed. The attached patch fixes this situation. VirtFS accessmode
Hi all, I'm trying to share a folder between a host and a guest using VirtFS. The source is NAS mounted on the host and QEMU runs as unprivileged user. The only way for me to use the folder inside the guest is to set the access mode to 'squash' but all file operations are performed by the user running QEMU. If I ran QEMU as root, the passthrough mode works as expected. Is there

Hi all, after an update from dovecot beta version to 1.0.0.-1 today morning I had different effects: thunderbird-, kmail-, Apple-clients, pine and squirrelmail could receive email correct with imaps. But not MSOutlook!!! Varying the namespace configurations in dovecot.conf I got different results with MSOutlook working but with thunderbird, squirrelmail etc. all folders are displayed but not

10 GbE PCI passthrough
Dear all, we are trying to get our virtual machines to work performant with our 10 GbE cards (lspci says: NetXen Incorporated NX3031 Multifunction 1/10-Gigabit Server Adapter (rev 42)). When doing some benchmarks it was noticed that especially on the receiving side, the virtualization layer hits a significant performance impact and therefore we went for a PCI passthrough, so that the VMs can

[LLVMdev] llc generated assembly does not work with gcc 3.4.4
Well, can I enforce gcc compatible output somehow? I tried playing with the llc flags which didn't help. A possible subtarget for windows might be masm, the msvc compiler and the like.
