Xen 3.1.0 on Fedora 7- libvir: Xen Daemon error :GET operation failed
Hi, I have been trying to get Xen 3.1 running on Fedora 7 since yesterday and no luck. At the beginning I thought it was a problem with teh installation of Fedora 7 so I reinstalled it. Still, I have the same problem. I have never had this problem with Xen (FC5,FC6). The xend.log (below) includes a line "VmError: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working."

virt-install fails on SXDE build 87
Hi. I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2/dual core processor and 2 gigs of ram running SXDE/87 (as far as I can tell, it''s on a ufs filesystem, not zfs). I''m attempting to install Vista from cd and the virt-install command fails with the same error regardless of what I do. I''m running this from my user (not root) account. I''m using qemu-img to create my hard drive images.

after installing virt-manager, error reported and cannot start up xend
Hello, I installed xen3.4 on Fedora and it worked very well. But after I installed virt-manager by yum install, xend cannot start up any more. It always reported: /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/xen/lowlevel/xs.so: undefined symbol: xs_set_target Who could give me some hands on this problem? I have other machine installed xen3.4, can I copy some libs from that machine to this one to solve this

ucs2 build of xapian?
Hi folks-- I'd really like to try out Xapian on my current server setup (Debian Sarge, Apache2, mod_python, django, postgresql, psycopg2). Problem is, my Python is compiled as ucs2, which is incompatible w/Xapian. I've tried recompiling Python w/ucs4, but it inevitably breaks psycopg2 (which I've blitzed & reinstalled on top of the new Python build, seems like dozens of times
