Reg: Throughput b/w domU & dom0
Hi all, I used netperf to measure throughput between dom0 & domU. The throughput between dom0 -> domU was 256.00 Mb/sec domU -> dom0 was 401.15 Mb/sec. The throughput between dom0 & domU seems to be very asymmetry. To my surprise the throughput between domU -> dom0 is more. The value which I specified are consistent values. Is

Hi all, I used netperf to measure throughput between dom0 & domU. The throughput between dom0 -> domU was 256.00 Mb/sec domU -> dom0 was 401.15 Mb/sec. There is a huge variation in the throughput between dom0 & domU. To my surprise the throughput between domU -> dom0 is more. The value which I specified are consistent values.

Increasing throughput on xen bridges
Hi all, I have a rhel 5.1 xen server with two rhel 3 ES hvm guests installed. Both rhel3 guests use an internal xen bridge (xenbr1) which it isn''t binded to any physical interface host. On this bridge throughput it is very very poor, only 2.5 Mbs. How can I increase this throughput??? Many thanks. -- CL Martinez carlopmart {at} gmail {d0t} com

A: ImportFrom(B, ...) -- B: ImportFrom(A, ...)
If I have a package A whose NAMESPACE has ImportFrom(B, <B-syms>)) and a package B whose NAMESPACE has ImportFrom(A, <A-syms>) and we can assume that <A-syms> and <B-syms> are disjoint. The clue would be that I only import relatively little from one namespace to the other. I currently get an error Error in loadNamespace(imp[[1L]], c(lib.loc, .libPaths())) :

Weird bandwith behaviour (download throughput) on CentOS based gateway
Hi. I have a company gateway that is connected to a 30/30 Fiber connection, network termination point is a MRV OS-904. It acts as a firewall/router for the DMZ/hosts/lans behind. Software: CentOS 6.9, bare minimum install, all latest patches. Hardware: Xeon CPU, Intel server MB with two Intel PRO 1000 (e1000, e1000e) network cards, adaptec RAID, 8GB RAM On the hosts/lan behind I can happily

NFS between domU and dom0 causes the virtual network to freeze! Please help
Hello, I''m a new user to Xen, so please be patient with me. I just installed a dom0 on my root-server and I also got a xenU to work with routed network. I can access from both sides and I can access both machines from any other computer too. So far - so good.. (gentoo on both ends by the way) My plan was to use a mounted NFS-directory from dom0 on my domU to place /home (and later

LEGO LOCO: startup error
I've installed successfully LEGO LOGO, a game made by LEGO Media. But, when I run it, I get a messagebox with the following error: ?LEGO LOCO only runs in High Colour (16-bit) 800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x1024. Please change to one of these settings.? Is there any workaround for this? Or must I change xorg.conf? (I'm using 1024x768. I suppose the problem is depth - mine is perhaps 24.)

[LLVMdev] [RFC] How to fix sqrt vs llvm.sqrt optimization asymmetry
Hi Hal, all. I'm not sure why llvm.sqrt is 'special'. Maybe because there is a SSE packed sqrt instruction (SQRTPS) but not e.g. a packed sin instruction AFAIK. As mentioned in a recent mail to this list, I would like llvm.sqrt to be defined as NaN for argument x < 0. I believe this would bring it more into line with the other intrinsics, and with the libm result, which is

Asymmetry and kurtosis coefficients
Hello everybody, I'm studying descriptive statistics with R and I want to know how to calculate the asymmetry and kurtosis coefficients of a sample using R. I'll appreciate some help. [LLVMdev] [RFC] How to fix sqrt vs llvm.sqrt optimization asymmetry
Hello everyone, The particular motivation for this e-mail is my desire for feedback on how to fix PR17758; but there is a core design issue here, so I'd like a wide audience. The underlying issue is that, because the semantics of llvm.sqrt are purposefully defined to be different from libm sqrt (unlike all of the other llvm.<libm function> intrinsics) (*), and because autovectorization

read.csv size limits
I have been using the read.csv function for a while now without any problems. My files are usually 20-50 MBs and they take up to a minute to import. They have all been under 50,000 rows and under 100 columns. Recently, I tried importing a file of a similar size (which means about the same amount of data), but with ~500,000 columns and ~20 rows. The process is taking forever (~1 hour so far). In

TO SYMMETRY AND ASYMMETRY-----NOW ADD SUPERSYMMETRY
Open Letter to Developers, Is there any way you can cut through the mob scene at Homeland Defense with a powerful new encryption/decryption formula? The government cryptography bunch are stuck in symmetry and asymmetry and are deaf/dumb/blind to supersymmetry.
