Routing all connections through a OpenVPN tunnel
Hi all,
I have set up a working OpenVPN2 connection between my Server and my
gateway at home.
Now I want all traffic to be routed through this VPN connection.
Currently everything is going through eth1 to the internet (to the gateway
of the University which forwards it to the internet :-).
We must use a prox-server and because of this I am not abel to watch the

Networking domU > Internet ping gives "destination host unreachable"
Hello @all,
thanks for all the helpfull answers in this mailing list. They helped me
compiling a new kernel 2.6.10.11 with Xen 2.0.6 (my first one), setting
up a dom0 with RAID, LVM and loop devices for domU, integrating a second
network as xen-br1 (I''m calling the /etc/xen/scripts/network script from
within /etc/init.d/xend to bring up / down the second bridge.) and
bootstrapping

Networkbrige is not working
In spite of reading howtos and this mailing list now for several weeks, I am
still not able to get the network of my winXP guest connected to the host

missing on my host (peth0, vif0.0).

Problems with bridged networking
Hi,
I''m using Xen 3.0.3 on two servers with Debian Etch (amd64). These
servers have 10 nics (2 onboard and 8 in two 4-port cards) so that
every vm can have its own interface.
This worked so far with the Xen Version from Etch with a wrapper
script wich started 10 bridges at boot time. But now I''ve updated Xen
on one of these server to Xen 3.2.0 from backports.org and now the

network settings
Hello,
Despite of reading a lot of descriptions I don''t understand the network
configuration. I simply have too little experience.
I work remote with the machine via ssh. My dom0 is running.
I copied an existing installation into a LV and created the following file:
# cat /etc/xen/domu-sarge
# -*- mode: python; -*-
kernel = "/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-4-xen-686"

SuSE 10 no network in dom0 - arp problem?
Hello.
I have installed the SuSE Linux 10 XEN kernel but no domU yet. Now I
cannot ping to and from dom0. I get lots of ARP broadcasts from dom0
but dom0 seems to ignore ARP answers. When pinging to dom0 it ignores
arp requests. This happens regardless xend is running or not. This
happens in the xen kernel only, when booting stock kernel all works
as expected.
What can I do?

Xen3.1 -> Xen4
Hi all,
this is my first post..well, i hope that I could help all about I know (at
time it''s not too much..only at time :p)
I show you my problem..I have a vm virtualized with xen 3.1 and xen 3.2.
Now, I want to export the same machine to Xen4. When I do this, it''s not
possible, the machine don''t like xen4.
Do you know about a how-to, manual, or something about this?

Re: Poor performance running WinXP x86 hvm underCentOS5.1x64 with xen3.1
I found on some CPUs an ACPI based HVM chews up a lot of CPU time versuses an APIC HVM, so in Windows I would change the computer type in device manager to "Standard PC" and disable acpi in the domain config.

Multicast packages dropped
Hi,
I have recently updated one of my systems from CentOs 6.4 to CentOS 6.5.
This systems is used as a RIPv2 routing server with quagga which is the termination point of some GRE tunnels.
While running CentOS 6.4 I see the multicast packages arriving at the eth0 and the GRE tunnel interface.
While running under CentOs 6.5 I can see the multicast packages arriving at the eth0 but not on the GRE
