I installed v3.2 from source and now dom0 is booting well. But when I

Convert Debian 6 from HVM to PV
I have a couple Debian 6 HVM VMs. From what I''ve read, Debian 6''s
standard kernels have pv_ops already enabled. I''d like to convert these
to pv for the following reasons (Assuming both of are valid expectations):
1) so the VMs use pv for the NICs
2) so the VMs properly respond to shutdown/reboot commands from xm
I''m having trouble converting them. I believe

How to boot Ubuntu 9.04(Jaunty) or Debian Lenny (vmlinuz-2.6.26-2-686-bigmem) as domU under Lenny''s vmlinuz-2.6.26-2-xen-686 as dom0. PVM''s initrd issue
Hello, I guess it possible distro specific issue but is it resolvable?
I have one node(testing purpose) ganeti 2.0.1 cluster installed over
Debian5 Lenny. Almost everything from distro repositories. Only ganeti
2.0.1 and ganeti-debootstrap are from sources. I have it successful
run with vmlinuz-2.6.26-2-xen-686 and initrd.img-2.6.26-2-xen-686

asterisk and bigmem kernel
Hi all,
I installed asterisk 1.4.22 on a Dell poweredge 2950, with 4GB RAM. I used
debian, but the default kernel doesn't recognize the 4GB, just 3, so I
installled the linux-image-2.6.18-6-686-bigmem kernel, that do recognize the
whole 4GB. Asterisk seems to be installed correctly, but I had two issues:
(1) I had an error with zaptel. Asterisk didn't start with zaptel modules
loaded. I

Anyone using fuse and/or sshfs under Centos 4.4?
Hi
A search of google failed to show any prebuilt rpms for sshfs and fuse.
I do see that fuse support is in 2.6.14 kernel which isn't a whole lot of
help.
Before I dive headlong into this has anyone successfully built fuse/sshfs
against Centos 4.4.
If so would you share your experience?
Thanks

Trying to upgrade domU to squeeze
Hello,
Not sure this is the right place to ask Xen user-questions.
I am running Lenny and try to upgrade a domU to Squeeze.
After the installation of a new xen-kernel in the domU and upgrading
udev I did a reboot but then the kernel does not find the root anymore,
and it's dropping me to a shell. When I look into /dev/ I don't see any
disks or partions.
Is here somebody who can help me

While rebooting it showed kernel panic and

PCI passthrough issue
Hello,
I''m facing a strange issue with network card PCI passthrough on my
openwrt test domU.
- With network PCI passthrough, DNS lookup failed for some domains
(exemple, google.com) but not for other (free.fr my ISP, or my domain
jbfavre.org). I can ping an IP address without any problem.
- Starting domU as a "normal" (ie without PCI passthrough), no problem.
As far as I can
