Home Lan computer browser(s)
Reading this list makes me think my questions are child's play for ya'll. */1) //Should I have more than one "computer browser" on my lan /*/(~16 machines)/*/?/* I'd read someplace that I should have 1 primary and 1 backup computer browser for up to 32 computers and then another backup browser for each additional 32 computers. IF this is true then I'd still like to

how to specify ggplot2 facet plot order
Hi, new to R and ggplot2. I've been trying to get a facet plot in which the order of the facets is as I require, rather than ordered numerically, alphabetically, by Roman numerals, mean (answers to these were posted here after much searching). Here's some test code to demonstrate what I get. series = c('C2','C4','C8','C10','C15','C20') ids =

home lan
I've read too many articles and posts on "domain master browser", "computer master browser", "NT domain browser", "PDC and BDCs", etc. etc. and I've managed to confuse my shrinking brain over this. I apologize in advance if I'm posting a redundant question (I've looked thru archivers best I could) or posting to the wrong place.

Pedigreemm

ggplot2 boxplot confusion
Ultimately my aim is to get a plot of density faceted by 2 factors with a horizontal boxplot overlaid on each density plot in the grid to indicate summary stats. So I've been experimenting with creating boxplots and density plots. Here's some representative data. series = c('C2','C4','C8','C10','C15','C20') ids =

[PATCH v3 0/5] hvmloader: Make ROM dependencies optional
This patch set mainly allows the user to build a seabios or rombios only version of hvmloader. In addition, when building a seabios only hvmloader, Option ROMs like vgabios and etherboot are no longer required, and therefore can be disabled from the build. Dependency on the bcc compiler can also be avoided the same way. v2: Separate patches for separate issues Introduced config option to

[PATCH] Replace bios_relocate hook with bios_load hook in hvmloader
Hi, These set of patches are affected by replacing bios_relocate hook with bios_load hook in hvmloader. The patches for code files config.h and hvmloader.c also contains part of the contents of Enabling UEFI BIOS(OVMF) support in Xen-unstable HVM. Is there any problem with these patches? Thank you very much. # HG changeset patch # User gbtju85@gmail.com # Replace bios_relocate hook with

[PATCH 0 of 2] Add configuration options to selectively disable S3 and S4 (V3)
This patch series adds the ability to selectively disable the S3 and S4 ACPI power states for HVM guests. Since there is a general move towards retiring the hvm_info_table structure, the first patch moves the acpi_enabled flag out of the hvm_info_table and into a xenstore key (platform/acpi). The second patch then introduces the acpi_s3 and acpi_s4 configuration parameters to the xl config file

virtual bios question
Hi, when user create the virtual machine, then: which code execute firstly, hvmloaer or qemu-dm?I have traced the codes flow and found qemu-dm run before hvmloader, right? And virtual bios code are both in hvmloader and qemu-dm, but I think it should be only one of virtual bios will be used to initialize the virutal device in qemu-dm.I find at the end of hvmloader it will jmp to 0xffff0, that

[PATCH RFC] hvmloader: Make ROM dependencies optional
When booting HVMs with SeaBIOS, the BIOS itself takes care of extracting option ROMs from the PCI devices. These ROMs are usually provided with by the device model (qemu). Thus, hvmloader should not require any longer the rombios, stdvga, cirrusvga or etherboot ROMs to be present. Also, the 32bitbios_support.c file is specific to rombios and should not be built when building hvmloader with

[PATCH 0 of 2] Support for VM generation ID save/restore and migrate
This patch series adds support for preservation of the VM generation ID buffer address in xenstore across save/restore and migrate, and also code to increment the value in all cases except for migration. The vast majority of the code is in second patch. The first patch merely changes the xenstore key name used by hvmloader to store the buffer address.

[PATCH 0 of 6] Add support for a VM generation ID virtual device (v2)
The following is a revised patch series to add support for a VM generation ID virtual device for HVM guests. The basic requirements of this device are as follows: - It must be exposed somewhere in ACPI namespace with a _CID of "VM_Gen_Counter". - It must also include a _DDN of "VM_Gen_Counter". - It must contain a _HID object but no particular value is required. - It must
