Unable to bring up Mini-OS on x86_64
I am getting the following error when I try to bring up Mini-OS on x86_64 Xen (unstable: 9994). It is dying in xc_linux_build() causing xend to fault and restart. Any clue why this happening? Has something changed in the builder that Mini-OS needs to be aware of?
PS: I tried reverting changeset 9993 (Allow linking of mini-os with application-specific object code), but still got the same error

libxl: ocaml: add bindings for libxl_domain_create_new
** NOT TO BE APPLIED **
Add a simple stub thing which should build a domain. Except it is
incomplete and doesn''t actually build. Hence RFC.

Hands-on: HP Mini 110
What do you do when you already have a couple of well-received netbooks? You make another one, of course. And sure as Shadrach, HP is following up on the success of its consumer-friendly Mini 1000 and business-centric Mini 2140 netbooks (not to mention its designer-minded Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam) with the HP Mini 110. We received a unit shortly before the news broke, so we can't offer you a

mini-os: Notify shutdown through weak function call instead of wake queue
To allow for more flexibility, this notifies domain shutdown through a
function rather than a wake queue, to let the application use a wake
queue only if it wishes.

iax2 received mini frame before first full voice frame
Hi,
I'm running several asterisk servers in combination with dundi. The
servers are in different data centers, but other than that they are running
identical copies of the same os image, asterisk configuration, etc. One
server acts as the trunk and is used to terminate pstn calls, and pass them
on to another server via dundi, which then answers the call.
I recently noticed that one of

Mini-OS and Xend issue
I am seeing a strange issue while running Mini-OS on the changeset
9906:a95e677073c1. This is on both i386 and x86_64. The only difference
being on i386 if I stop printing to the console, this issue is not
manifested. But with x86_64 it happens all the time.
Bringing up Mini-OS for the first time causes xm to hang on certain
commands like "list, destroy". Other commands like

mini-os on ia64
Hi,
I want to port the mini-os to the ia64 architecture.
Therefore I think a restructure of the code is needed to have architecture
specific sub-directories under extras/mini-os,
perhaps:
mini-os/
  x86
  ia64
  ....
mini-os/include/
  x86
  ia64
  ...
Has anybody thought of such differentiation? Is there a maintainer of
mini-os - I saw lots of patchs from Grzegorz Milos?
What do you think?

[PATCH 0/7] vtpm Mini-Os domain and vTPM stability fixes
The following are a set of patches to run the berlios tpm emulator
0.6.1 in a mini-os domain, called vtpm-stubdom. Documentation on how to
use this domain is located at stubdom/vtpm/README.
The following are a series of patches that enable this domain and also
add significant stability improvements to the entire vTPM subsystem,
including the original method of using vtpmd as a process.

Working with blind people, I'm interested in low-cost technologies
using audio. Ogg Vorbis is therefore of interest to me.
I'd like to install the necessary components for Ogg Vorbis

IAXTel Connect Problem - Mini Frame
I'm new to the Asterisk software but have successfully set it up to make
and receive calls using FXO cards, voicemail transfer etc.
I can successfully call the Digium test IAX using the examples provided.
I have signed up for an IAX tel account and got a number.
The extensions have been set up as per the examples from IAX tel.
However when I try to place a call this is what I get:

Asterisk on Mini-Box M300
Hi,
Did anyone try to install Asterisk on the Mini-Box
M300 with a Versa
mini-ITX board 1GHz VIA x86 CPU?
The box looks promissing, but I am not sure if Digium
cards are compatible
with the mother board (Versa mini-ITX)
Also I am not sure if the 1GHz VIA processor can
handle a Digium 24 port
analog board, or an E1 digital board.
If anyone had tried the Mini-Box, the processor, of
the mother

OT - Choose PCI or mini-PCI for appliance ?
Hi,
Mini-PCI cards such as those from Junghanns (BRI or E1,
http://www.junghanns.net/en/produkte.html), are available.
Are these modules really usable as it doesn't seem very easy to integrate
those in appliances ?
Can someone share its experience with those ?
More specifically, how can you add connectors in appliance chassis ?
Do you need to use a vendor PCI bracket (ie the 1cmx15cm steel

CentOS 6, mini-SAS and eSATA
We've got this Dell server. In it, we've got two LSI HBAs. Mini-SAS to one
RAID box. The other, cheapo RAID box, has eSATA. We got a
mini-SAS-to-eSATA cable - actually, it's one mini-SAS to three eSATA. The
systems sees not those disks.
Will this just not work, with the HBA, or is there a driver that will let
the what, mpt2SAS driver see the eSATA drives?

Wine OK on HP Mini 1000??
I recently got a mini 1000 with linux OS. I have always used windows and didn't know what OS was on the notebook until I started playing with it. I am slowly learning about linux, (very slowly). I want to download a windows program called " brain fitness Pro" onto my Mini. It appears that I need to download Wine first to accomplish this. I believe that the mini I have uses Gnome for
