dm_mod: no version for "struct_module" found: kernel tainted
I used the xensource install script for RHEL4 and after trying to boot on
the new kernel the system just continually rebooted. I appended a noreboot
to the xen line and now i''m seeing the following...

linux-2.6-xen kernels and initrds
I have a question regarding the building of the unified xen kernel
(linux-2.6-xen) and the use of initrd. In the past I built both xen0
and xenU kernels; the xen0 default configurations had SCSI and Fusion
MPT support compiled into the kernel. Now, they are built as modules.
The problem is that I am unable to boot the xen kernel built that way,
even though I am building an initrd. I have

Wanted: UK-specific hardware recommendations (FXO and FXS)
I have a pair of Asterisk servers which are happily routeing VoIP calls.
I want to hook one of them to the PSTN. Given that I am in the UK, what
is a reasonably easily-available device to provide an FXO interface from
a Linux box, with a minimum of faffing around with drivers? Just one
line is needed, though in theory two might eventually be useful. My
usual white-box hardware suppliers don't

wine-20050211 on SuSE 9.2
I am trying to install wine-20050211 on my second system, which runs
SuSE 9.2. After much faffing around I finally managed to download and
install bison, which allowed ./config to complete. A warning at the end
advised me to install xlib-devel or xfree86-devel. Googling around I
found the RPM for XFree86-devel for SuSE 9.1 so I downloaded it and
started to install it. Unfortunately, a

rc.sysinit problem in domU
When booting a CentOS4 domU, I''m getting some errors in the /etc/sysinit

find any specific references. Has anyone seen this before? Is there a
workaround?

ipp2p: error loading kernel module
Hi,
I get this error when trying to insmod the ipp2p kernel module:

in the kernel log: "ipt_ipp2p: disagrees about version of symbol
struct_module"
Kernel version 2.6.20.4
iptables version: 1.3.5
ipp2p version: 0.8.2 (latest)
Anyone tried ipp2p with kernel 2.6.20?

Non-working module on TDM400P?
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone had any pointers on how to determine whether or
not a module has gone wonky on the TDM400P?
I have a 2 FXO (channels 3 and 4) and 2 FXS unit (channels 1 and 2). The
bad (?) module in question is the FXO module on channel 3. I can't dial
in to or out of that channel; dialing in gives a busy signal, dialing
out just shows * hanging around after attempting a

Cisco 9971 help
I'm an asterisk hobbyist, and I've got my hands on some cisco 9971's
preloaded with SIP (I think they might only come in SIP flavour actually?).
I am quite excited about the possibilities with this kit - especially video
calls. Unlike the earlier Cisco phones (e.g. 79 series), these can't be
used standalone, and require a TFTP server to get their config. After many
hours of

DevKit TDM400P module won't load
Hi all,
I have just purchased the DevKit from Digium and received a X100P and a
TDM400P (it has one FXS module).
The problem is that I can't get the kernel module (wcfxs) to load and
run. I have searched the archives and can't find anything about this.
Do the messages below ring any bells with anyone ?
There is no interrupt clash (see pci list below). I am running on a AMD

vglm(), t values and p values
Hi All,
I'm fitting an proportional odds model using vglm() from VGAM.
My response variable is the severity of diseases, going from 0 to 5 (the
severity is actually an ordered factor).
The independent variables are: 1 genetic marker, time of medical observation,
age, sex. What I *need* is a p-value for the genetic marker. Because I have ~1.5
million markers I'd rather not faffing

Xen Dom0 with FibreChannel (FC) can''t export disk to DomU
Hello all,
I have a problem with Xen and FibreChannel.
The Dom0 can''t export a Disk on a FibreChannel SAN-Box to the DomU''s.
In the DomU configuration I try:
disk = [ ''phy:/dev/sdb1,/dev/sda1,w'' ]
or
disk = [ ''file:/mnt/sambashare.img,sda1,w'' ]
sambashare.img is a 512MB great Diskimage on a Partition on the FC-SAN-Box,

make balloon driver not return pages which are in
[xen_start_info->nr_pages, max_pfn] on ia64.
On ia64 memory might be assigned sparsely. In that case
xen_start_info->nr_pages and max_pfn doesn''t match while pages which are in
[xen_start_info->nr_pages, max_pfn] are used.
