AGI Helpdesk/Trouble Ticketing application
Greetings All,
I've created a sample trouble ticketing management script in perl that
allows the management of trouble tickets, call routing, etc that
interfaces with the perldesk helpdesk application.
It is mainly for an example of what integration between asterisk and real

[LLVMdev] linker error (llvm-config, eclipse)
Hi,
I'm playing around with llvm and the Kaleidoscope tutorial and first of
all I have to say I'm really impressed. LLVM rocks!
Unfortunately I've now run into a linker error while trying to optimize
the IR or turn it to bitcode and likely due to my very limited
experience with c++ I just can't figure out how to resolve it.

Forking in Rails => Boom. Mysql has gone away.
Hello,
We are running Rails on www.montastic.com (free website monitoring
service w/ ajax and RSS feeds) and we are trying to fork a process
within a model e.g. and continue the query the model stored data e.g.
in model server.rb...
Server.count
==> 1111
fork {
Server.count
}
==> Boom. Mysql has gone away...
Is there a way to fork in a way to keep the database connection?

asterisk clients (need helpdesk solution)
Asterisk looks great on the server side, but it I'm not sure I've found
a good solution for my users on the desktop. I've look at few windows
apps, but most are just for configuring asterisk (which I've already
done). The users here are used to using an app that lets them see caller
id, switch between multiple calls, and has a dial directory.
Is there a good client app

Anyone using VoIP WiFi phones?
The only advantage is when you travel. Last year I took my wifi sip
phone to Astricon in Madrid and everything worked as expected. I am just
packing it and heading for Paris...

Cannot see any files in samba shares
I have installed Samba 2.2.8 on a Solaris 8 machine. My compile options

Relative frequencies in table
Hi,
I'm trying to create a stacked bar plot with the satisfaction scores from a
customer satisfaction survey. I have results for three stores over several
weeks and want to create a weekly graph with a stacked bar for each store.
I can flatten the dataframe into a table with absolute frequencies, but I
can't find how to get relative frequencies. My dataset looks similar to the

Bold Substring in mtext (newbie question)
Hi everyone,
I suspect this is an easy task however I've not been able to accomplish it. I'd like to create an mtext title which has certain words bold, the rest not bold. So far I've been able to create one which is all bold, one which is all not bold and one which has bold and not bold superimposed on one another. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
