At least thats how it looks from my tests and what people said is the current behaviour. Is this the case? If so, is there a way around it or will it change in the future? I have a very weird issue with isolinux. I create disks with a bootsector, kernel etc. The CD's boot fine on most machines, but on a significant number the bios just completely ignores them.
