Bug#702428: HVM networking tap/vif bug (Debian bug 702428)
Hi, I've been testing the Debian packages ahead of the Debian 7 release (which is very imminent) I believe this is a serious bug[1] in the package, as it appears that HVM networking is broken, or at the very least, requires some undocumented configuration step Specifically: - I can start the HVM domU without any vif - if I attach a vif, the domU will not start Looking at

RHEL5 & Xen 3.2.1; Not creating tap0 in dom0 for domU''s
Hi All, I have a weird issue I''m not sure how to solve.  I''ve got Xen 3.2.1 working under RHEL 5.2 x86_64 just fine.  I fired off a CentOS 5.2 PV install and everything went smoothly... except that when I fire up the PV, the tap0 for bridging isn''t being created.  This results in the CentOS 5.2 domU''s bridged eth0 only being able to ping the RHEL5

domU network packets get lost on the way to dom0
Hi, I am experiencing a strange network problem. It looks like some packets get lost on the way from frontend network device in domU to the backend vifx.x in dom0. But first my configuration: - Xen 3.4.0 from the gentoo ebuild and the pvops dom0 kernel from jeremy/xen.git - The system has two physical network interfaces called gblan (Gigabit Ethernet) and felan (Fast Ethernet) - Two network

[LLVMdev] Get line number for entry block of loop in LLVM 2.4
Hello all, When we have a pointer to a basic block, which is the entry of a loop, how do we get the line number of the source code coressponding to that basic block? Is this possible in LLVM 2.4, or do we need LLVM 2.5? consuming pre-created tap - with multiqueue
Hello, On KubeVirt, we are trying to pre-create a tap device, then instruct libvirt to consume it (via the type=ethernet , managed='no' attributes). It works as expected, **unless** when we create a multi-queue tap device. The difference when creating the tap device is that we set the multi-queue flag; libvirt throws the following error when consuming it: ``` LibvirtError(Code=38,

New installation does not show on network
Ever since installing Fedora 7, samba stopped showing the machine on the network. I can connect to it by entering the machine name (\\lazarus), but it will not show itself from a Windows machine. I tried a command suggested to test if it was listening and this is what I got; $ smbclient -L localhost -U% Domain=[LAZARUS] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.25b-2.fc7] Sharename Type

Compiling git on FC7 64 bit
Having just upgraded to FC7, 64 bit (from FC4, 32 bit), I seem to be having a compile problem with a current git version of Wine. I am assuming plenty of others have already run into this and figured out the fix. It is pretty much a stock FC7, with only a few additional packages added so far (cups-devel, freetype, a few others). Compiling works until here: make[2]: Entering directory
