How to get Vncserver for OpenSolaris domU on top Linux dom0 ?
There is no active internet connection on the LAN where Solaris domU runs.
I cannot follow advise from
http://www.dme.org/log/2006/07/21/xvnc-with-solaris-on-xen/
and execute:-
# pkgadd -d http://www.blastwave.org/pkg_get.pkg
# /opt/csw/bin/pkg-get -i vncserver
Would it be possible to download install package for vncserver at some
other location and copy to Linux box running Solaris PVM ?

running x server on domU without graphics hardware
Hi, is there any solution to running X on domU, when not using hvm? I''ve tried
using vncserver/tightvnc, but it doesn''t support many X extentsions (notably
randr) and gnome does weird things, because parts of it keep crashing without
randr extenstion.
thanks

BSD domU with HVM
Hi all!
I have recently purchased an Athlon X2 3800+ and I should like to
install FreeBSD or OpenBSD in a HVM domU on Xen 3.0.3-1 dom0 (Debian
packages). Is it possible? In such case, can someone recommend me a
guide/howto to accomplish it?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Daniel

DomU with Etch does not work on Lenny dom0
Hello,
My domU's with Lenny do work without problems, but when I try to use
Etch I can start the domU, but I cannot ping the domU.
When I start the domU with "xm create name.cfg -c" I see this:
------
mount: Mounting /root/dev on /dev/.static/dev failed: No such file or
directory
Done.

Same IRQ in dom0 and domU by different hardware causes dom0 crash
Hi, this is my first mail in this list. I''ve installed Xen in Debian Etch and
created a virtual domU Debian Etch as well.
In domU I''ve installed an Asterisk and want to use a Beronet ISDN card:
~# lspci
0a:01.0 ISDN controller: GmbH ISDN network Controller [HFC-4S] (rev 01)
So I pass the iSDN card PCI to domU by adding in dom0 "/boot/grub/menu.lst":

HFC-S ISDN cards in Xen3.0.3 DomU''s
Hi!
I just wanted to ask if anyone managed to get "ordinary" HFC-S ISDN
cards with the zaphfc driver running in a Xen3 DomU.
I am referring to this post (
http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2007-04/msg00202.html ),
which perfectly describes my problem and I am therefore going to
simply copy-and-paste it here:

Neverending story: Networking in domU
Hi,
i allready searched the archives, but found no message that really helps me.
i am running debian etch on dom0 and debian sarge on domU.
I had a running setup with debain sarge on dom0 before, but now with etch i can not get networking to work in domU.
I use routed networking, but the same seems to happen with bridged networking: eth0 within domU is not brought up.
I think it maybe related

But still serial access from dom0 works fine.
after blacklisting the 8250/8250_pnp/serial_core drivers,
i still cannot get serial access from domU (i do have the

Putting X into DomU?
Hi, I am not so familiar with Xen. So I need help. I have put Xen (3.2) and
XenoLinux (2.6.18.8) into Fedora8.
After that I have created a Debian-Etch DomU image using Xen-tools. I used
the role scripts to put xdm functionality into it. With only this I tried to
boot the domU image, but got some segmentation fault error while booting the
domU. So following the direction in

environments. I know so because 64bit Linux didnt boot and said
something about am I trying to run it in 32 bit environment; and because

BIT_SIZE=64 and got BIT_SIZE=32. And also,
