VNC for Dom U
Hi, Could any one please tell me a proper way to access my DomU using VNC. I saw a thread related to this topic, but that did not seem to have the right thing. I am using Xen 3.2 (compiled from source) on top of FC8-64bit. I am using a jailtime.org file system image for FC 64 bit as my Dom U. Thanks DM

[PATCH] RHEV: Only mark the first disk as bootable
RHEV will fail to start a guest with more than one VirtIO disk marked as bootable. The previous behaviour of V2V simply marked all disks as bootable, intending to follow the behaviour of libvirt's qemu driver. However, libvirt's qemu driver actually only marks the first disk specified in the domain XML (which may or may not be Xda) as bootable. This change updates the RHEV output to follow

Creating a bootable partition on a USB disk with syslinux
Hello, I have a 2GB USB disk on key on /dev/sdb1. I had created on it one partition (FAT16). This partition holds all cylinders of the USB disk. I want to create a bootable Linux USB disk. For this, I tried: syslinux -s /dev/sdb1 An than I ran: fdisk -l /dev/sdb Disk /dev/sdb: 2048 MB, 2048729600 bytes 64 heads, 62 sectors/track, 1008 cylinders Units = cylinders of 3968 * 512 = 2031616

Is it possible to boot a CD-Image of a bootable CD (no disk emu) via pxe
Hello Peter, is it possible to boot a CD-Image of a bootable CD (no disk emu) via pxe. I've build up the infrastructure to boot normal floppy images via PXE (under W2K and/or Netware). I have a ISO image of the bootable CD (1 tack TAO eltorinto with an a single boot sect -> bootimage is 2kB, ISO image about 600 MB) I suspect that a combination of MEMDISK and PXELINUX with activated UNDI

How do I create a syslinux bootable GPT UEFI Linux disk?
I need to create one bootable UEFI disk partition that contains all the space on the disk. The steps must work in a shell script. Ideally with syslinux/extlinux but if not possible then grub. How to do this? Surely it should be dead easy, a handful of lines? Nothing I do works. This is what I have so far: DISK_DEVICE_NAME_CURRENT_OS=hda echo remove all partitions sudo /usr/local/sbin/sgdisk -Z

Help! Extlinux no longer bootable after reorder disk numbers
I split one partition, then my hard drive partitions and my partition numbers are listed in the wrong order and I fixed them <https://journalxtra.com/linux/how-to-reorder-linux-drive-partition-numbers/> so they run sequentially from lowest to highest. And the problem is, as the article <https://journalxtra.com/linux/how-to-reorder-linux-drive-partition-numbers/> has warned, my disks
