Bad network performance between VMs in a domain.
Hi!
I have got this problem aching in my head. The speed between my VM and
external machine is about 900Mb/s, but the speed between 2 VMs in one bridge
is just about 20 Mb/s. What can i do with this? Please, help me out.
I ve got a standart Xen configuration(bridge).
Thanks.

[rfc] [patch] 32/64-bit hypercall interface revisited
Last year we had a discussion[1] about how the hypercall ABI
unfortunately contains fields that change width between 32- and 64-bit
builds. This is a huge problem as we come up on the python management
stack for ppc64, since the distributions ship 32-bit python. A 32-bit
python/libxc cannot currently manage a 64-bit hypervisor.
I had a patch but was unable to test it, and some other things were

[PATCH 0 of 2] Add configuration options to selectively disable S3 and S4 (V3)
This patch series adds the ability to selectively disable the S3 and S4 ACPI
power states for HVM guests.
Since there is a general move towards retiring the hvm_info_table structure,
the first patch moves the acpi_enabled flag out of the hvm_info_table and into
a xenstore key (platform/acpi).
The second patch then introduces the acpi_s3 and acpi_s4 configuration
parameters to the xl config file

basic include files for speex
Hi Jean,
I'm trying to compile the encode.c and or the test programs that are on the site and in libspeex respectively. however, i keep getting some undefined references to the basic speex functions(see compiler log). a query on google showed that this question was posed but no answer given. I traced them down to speex.c. however when i build my project i still get these undefined referneces.

[PATCH v1 01/02] HVM firmware passthrough libxl support
This patch introduces support for two new parameters in libxl:
smbios_firmware=<path_to_smbios_structures_file>
acpi_firmware=<path_to_acpi_tables_file>
The changes are primarily in the domain building code where the firmware files
are read and passed to libxc for loading into the new guest. After the domain
building call to libxc, the addresses for the loaded blobs are returned and

Where is xtime updated in a domU with an independent wallclock?
Hi All,
I have just started looking at the code for Xen so please bear with me.
A domU Linux kernel running with independent_wallclock=1 seems to sync
its time with dom0 after every "xm unpause" (obviously preceded by an
"xm pause").
I don''t see where the xtime variable is being updated after an "xm
unpause", i.e., domain_unpause_by_systemcontroller().

records when the form is submitted. So - I am creating ''dummy'' records

memsize for HVM save/restore
As you know, HVM save/restore broke recently because restored config miss guest
memsize that used by xc_hvm_restore to locate some pfn.
After discussion, we decided to remove the pfn deduction logic from restore side
by adding a general memory layout. I have a patch for it.
But then qemu broke, because it also require the memsize to locate the share
page. We can''t use the previous

In the process of solving this one, I''ve got to (another) of the
blocking points...
At the moment, we translate the virtual address from the guest in the
page-fault-handler to guest physical address via the gva_to_gpa()

voicemail - "digits/1F does not exist in any format"
I've got a voicemailbox with one message store. When I try to read it,
I get the followiing error:

Obviously, I can just clear out that mailbox, but is this a bug that I
should be reporting?
