Resizing Windows LVM makes it unbootable
Hi, I have a working windows lvm of 1.62GB size. I just do an lvextend +1Gb on it, and then the Guest gets stuck at ''booting from harddisk'' the initial stage. Is there something more I should do? I had tried getting it working with parted etc, but it doesn''t seem to work. Is there some documentation on manipulating windows image files and the partitions inside them?

Build environment for totem-2.16.7-7.el5_6.1.src.rpm
This package has a build requirement 'gecko-devel' which is fulfilled by 'xulrunner-devel'. But in the process of building the browser plugins two tools named 'xpidl' and 'xpt_link' are necessary. They werde once part of 'gecko-devel' but are now replaced by other tools. I haven't found any package that has these tools all the way back to 5.0. Maybe

Running OpenVz inside Xen
Hi, Let us say that I have a VT enabled Xen virtualization system with the ability to run unmodified kernels. So can I run OpenVz inside one of the Guest Oses? Theoretically I can''t find a reason why OpenVz cannot run inside Xen, since Xen provides full virtualization of the resources, but I just need to make sure. Thanks. _______________________________________________

Problems with getty and X on runlevel switch [Was: Re: The future of centos]
The easy way to restart gdm is when you are on the login screen itself or the desktop simply press Ctrl-Alt-Backspace. This works for Upstart in CentOS 6.x but will not work for CentOS 7.x which uses Systemd. The service command does not work for gdm. However, logging out of the desktop will restart gdm. It works for the graphical login exactly like the gettys in a TTY environment. On
